Your call

Often, I just write what's in my head, ideas I've been batting around at home or work on on the train. But I feel at a loss with this team. I'm just not sure what to say anymore.

So what do you have to say?

The nice thing about the software of this site is that you have the chance to initiate conversations with the diaries feature. If you look at the right-hand sidebar, you will see the links to the diaries section. All you need is a screenname -- you too can be a published blogger. I'm very interested in reading what you have to say and seeing how the rest of the community responds to your ideas. So much so that I will promote high-quality diaries (believe me, my standards are low) to the top of the front page.

Also, if there's something that you want to see me tackle in a post, let me know in the comments section.

This certainly isn't a one-way street.

The silence is deafening

Rethinking that whole 468 posts in a year, hmmm Sunil? [diabolical laughter]

Here are a few ideas:

  1. Stat breakdowns. Compare with other teams, past Saints teams, player to player, former Saints to present Saints, how players fared as a Saint, as a former Saints, before/after, etc.
  1. A know your Saints feature. Mention college stats and play, draft position, contract, etc.
  1. Bring back the meet the Saintsations feature. FTW
  1. Taking what the "true" journalists write about the Saints and critiqueing(sp?) what they wrote.
  1. Trivia feature. A did you know type thing

Not to say you should do this, just brainstorming ideas.

Silence

I just figured that was because I was doing such a great job. [/rimshot]

Those are all really good ideas. I think the common link is that you want more depth about individual members of the team and organization. That, I can certainly labor to provide.

Thanks for your response.
