Brees on pace to break Marino's passing record

Found this chart over at yahoo sports ....  Yeah, it's the quarter point of the season, but I personally think it's a bit early to be putting Brees's season into comparison with that of Marino's record breaking year back in 84'

What do you guys think?

Brees chasing Marino’s passing yardage record

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is on pace to pass for 5,314 yards and surpass the single-season passing yardage record of 5,084 set by Dan Marino in 1984.

not too early for projections

The Saints are not going to stop passing. If they fall behind in the score, they are going to throw. Depends if Drew can stay healthy. If he plays 16 games, I say he’ll do it.
