Below is a FanPost written by Jaxon of Cat Scratch Reader. This is your chance to ask his any question you have about the Panthers and he will check in frequently to answer them. I highly encourage you guys to utilize this opportunity. This is a big game and this only the first of two meetings against these guys.
Also be sure to see the FanPost that he put up on Cat Scratch Reader for his readers to ask me questions. Feel free to add your own input over there.
I will let Jaxon take over from here. Ask away!

Hello to all Canal Street Chronicle readers. Jaxon here with Cat Scratch Reader, the SBN blog dedicated to the Carolina Panthers. You may be familiar with the Blogger Q&A format but if you're not it's pretty simple. If you have any questions regarding the Panthers match-up with the Saints this weekend that you would like a Panther fan perspective on then simply add it as a comment below. I'll be checking back from time to time to answer any questions that come up over the next couple of days.
Trust me, I'm looking for any and all diversions away from last weeks stinker the Panthers put up in Tampa. Considering that result it makes this game with the Saints that much more important for the Panthers to defend their home turf. We were feeling pretty good about our defense up until last week but now facing the Saints offense is looking kind of scary.I talked a little tto much smack last week so I will be toning it down this week.
So let's hear from you, I'm looking forward to your questions.
Go Panthers!

Huge game for both teams
I’m nervously awaiting this game myself as we can’t know for sure which Saints team will show up. I hope it’s the one we saw last Sunday. It seems that in recent years, the Saints/Panthers games have been hard fought and close contests. This one’s scary because they’re a good team coming off a tough loss last week and, much like a real wounded and cornered panther, I expect they’ll be coming out with fangs and claws at full bare. Still, I like the Saints chances as long as they don’t shoot themselves in the foot again. I’m sure it will be a nail biter of a game.
What’s the running back situation there now? Has Jonathon Stewart pretty much locked in the starting role or will DeAngelo Williams get more carries in the future like he did against the Chiefs?
Go Saints!!!!

Williams is still the starter
It’s been about 15-20 carries for Williams and 10-12 for Stewart, depending on the score. They rotate series but its not 50/50 yet.

Delhomme short term/long term
Does everyone agree that Delhomme’s TJ surgery is a success? Jake is 33. Is Matt Moore the heir apparent? How soon? Is that a good thing?
Jake's surgery was a huge success
Jake said is elbow had been hurting for a couple years. Now he’s pain free and can throw the long ball easily. No worries about the elbow at all now.

How come our official team websites suck?
Just checked out panthers.com, got down into the game preview and couldn’t get out.
I'm sure why you're having a problem
The site is actually much better now than it was. I prefer Mozilla so if you’re using IE that may be it.

No, that's not it
This is one of my pet peeves: NFL sites suck. The Saints site may be the worst of the bunch…it’s absolutely horrid, no matter what browser you use.
WR projections and the O-line
If Dwayne Jarrett took to heart only half of the advice he gets from Steve Smith, would he be a solid WR2 for the Panthers?
What is the deal with DJ Hackett??? Is he ever not hurt?
In 2004, all your running backs got hurt, so backup fullback Nick Goings came in and had five 100+yrd games, and I think Brad Hoover had a few good games as well. (I remember I had them on my fantasy team and cleaned up) Do you have some kind of Denver zone blocking scheme or what?
Answers from 1 to 3
1 – Jarrett is still an enigma; he was active for games 1, 2 & 6 only. He had one catch last week and one awful drop where the ball hit his hands with a thud. We’ve stopped asking questions about Jarrett. I don’t know if its the coaches not having confidence in him or he just can’t get open.
2 – Hackett has essentially been hurt the entire time in Carolina. No surprise there.
3 – OC Jeff Davidson brought a zone-blocking scheme to Carolina which it was my understanding requires smaller, agile linemen. Then we brought in the biggest dudes we could find. Are we still zone-blocking? I can’t really tell. There is no doubt the running game has performed better when we have all five starters in there. Three have missed games so far with two (Otah, Kalil) still questionable for this weekend.

What's still up with Peppers?
So far this year, two Saints (Grant and McCray) have as many sacks (both starting DE’s have more tackles, too), and twenty-three NFL players have more. What happened to the freak athlete who could win games by himself? Was last year not a fluke after all?
There's a ton of focus on sacks
and Peppers has three so far, exceeding last years total. Will he put up 12 to 15? I doubt it but 6-10 sounds about right. He set the bar so high it doesn’t look like he will ever match it again. I’m not unhappy about his performance so far but sure, I’d like more big plays. I don’t know what else to say about him.
