Saints Re-Sign Terrance Copper
Per the Times-Pic
The Saints re-signed receiver Terrance Copper on Saturday, just four days after he was released. He'll replace defensive tackle Montavious Stanley, who was placed on injured reserve.
More musical chairs! Payton needs to make up his mind who he wants on this team. Are the Saints going to keep Courtney Roby, the wide receiver the team just signed? Thanks to HansDat for posting this and bringing it to everyone's attention!

I'm new to this posting on a blog thing...
But I just figured out how to “fanshot” post the link to that news item about Copper. Thanks for your patience. Just waiting for the LSU game to start in about 30 min…

good point...
…not often expressed here: blind trust in Payton. The 2006 NFC championship game earned him quite a lot of political football capital. But how much? Does he have to win this year? Just a winning season, or a playoff win? If he fails, then what? We treat him like Brad Childress? I don’t know.

0-15
It’s not about trust. we have a coach who, according to a stat that was flashed on the screen last sunday, is 0-15 when trailing after 3 qtrs. That’s with Drew Brees. That’s with Reggie Bush. That’s with Marques Colston. That’s hard to believe. Mora did better than that. Haslett also. Ditka, well….. let’s just try to forget that idiot ever even came to New Orleans. If Payton won’t hand over the offensive coordinator’s job to someone else, maybe he should at least do it for the 4th quarter of every game.
I doubt if there are many, if any other, head coaches that can sport that stat.
