Reggie Bush: Torn Meniscus
Rotoworld.com:
Fox's Curt Menafee reported that Bush tore the meniscus in his left knee during Sunday's game against the Panthers.
He will undergo surgery on the meniscus, and coach Sean Payton revealed that Bush will not make the trip to London with the Saints. Counting the Week 9 bye, his next game should be three weeks from today. Deuce McAllister should see an increase in carries, but it's also possible that Pierre Thomas will assume some of Bush's responsibilities against the Chargers next week.

You not the only one
Dont kid ya´lls selve, 3 wks to fully! recover from a torn meniscus is cutting it extremely tight (i know that personally). Now would be the time to let Deuce loose but Payton seems to have a prob. with him. He will prob. play Pierre instead. Wonder if they loose to SD how long Payton stays? Read a suggestion to replace with Cowher- not a bad idea IMO. They will be happy to see a wqildcard spot if they continue as they are. Any suggestions on a new punter`?
team unravelling
I think the Weatherford cut is symptomatic of a team unravelling. It really makes no sense, and Payton is losing control. We are starting to see other clues as well: Shockey and his “misdiagnosis”, Colston back too soon, underutilitzing Deuce, the Gramatica and Melhaff fiasco… I think it started with the injuries, and now with Bush, and maybe Goodwin, out it’s only going to get worse. The timing is terrible given the schedule the next few weeks. I would not be surprised if we see the Saints completely melt down and lose the next 3 road games. If they lose to KC then we know for sure it is over this year.
Hey let's take these losses one at a time; they need to travel across the ocean to another continent and lose one there first.
Come on, Saints fans. Let’s model ourselves after the NY Giants. They had troubles and backbiting and Shockey, and they went on to win a Superbowl. Not that the Saints will. But they can still salvage a winning season, at least. Unless you’re ready to tank. Dave, we need a poll.
Game Planning
This will finially make Payton put on his thinking cap and come up w/ something other than trying to feed the ball to Bush. If I remember correctly, they didn’t fall off too much the last time he got hurt, so it isn’t the end of the world just yet.
