Saints G Jamar Nesbit filed suit Tuesday against StarCaps, the maker of a weight-loss supplement, alleging it was spiked with a diuretic banned by the NFL. Nesbit realized that the NFL considers players fully responsible for what is in their bodies, so he went after StarCaps for his lost salary instead. Nesbit's leftover pills were reportedly tested and found to include Bumetanide (the same substance for which Deuce McAllister and others have tested positive), which was not listed as an ingredient. It sounds like Nesbit may have a case, but it's unlikely that it would affect the suspensions of other players.
