Let me help you out

1) No. It’s a trick question, Robert Meachem is a figment of your imagination.

Predictions

1. Brees has 2 picks
2. Reggie returns with 30 yds rushing and 70 yds receiving
3. Saints win

by Steve the fan on Nov 21, 2008 2:15 PM CST reply actions

This one is a toughie

How do you pass against a defense like Green Bay? And how can we convince Payton that this is the week to run, run, run!

Nevertheless, I gotta pick the Saints to win. Low score, say something like 24-20.

1. Deuce/Pierre rack up 150 yards.

2. Colston comes back finally…100 yards receiving and he doesn’t drop a pass.

3. Saints lose the turnover battle but win anyway.

On our way to 11-5

by MtnExile on Nov 21, 2008 2:37 PM CST reply actions

Starting to sound like a broken record but...

1. Shockey shows some of the traits that made him such an interesting looking addition to the saints…70+ yards receiving…

2. Pierre Thomas gets more touches than Deuce…for a combined 100+ yard game…

3. Vilma plays like a madman and gets at least one sack…leads the Saints in tackles…

by Grumps on Nov 21, 2008 2:45 PM CST reply actions

1. 27-26 Saints win

2. Saints “exploitation” of another terrible run defense = just over 100 yards rushing as a team.

3. Game decided by 4th-Q FG by, #5 on the field but #1 in your heart, Garrick Utley.

by Hans Petersen on Nov 21, 2008 5:59 PM CST reply actions

Saints 24, Packers 17

1) Ryan Grant is held to less than 86 yards rushing.
2) Deuce makes at least one memorable play (moves the pile, breaks a long one, punishes a tackler, I’ll take anything) that I can keep on videotape and treasure.
3) Al D. Harris shuts Colston DOWN; #12 has less than 3 receptions for under 20 yards total, zero TD’s, resulting in much handwringing analysis on Da Chronic next week.

SAINTS 27- packers 14

1) SAINTS win by 2 scores; 2)Duece & Pierre bust em for 125+;3) it’s Colston’s night, 2 big T.D.’s

by Ron the fan on Nov 21, 2008 8:34 PM CST reply actions

Alright..after a brief hiatus, here it goes...

1. Tony Kornheiser will be all over Reggie’s jock because of Reggie’s last Monday night performance.

2. He’ll follow that up by saying Reggie will never be an “every down back”

3. Colston needs to get in the endzone at some point. It won’t be this game.

DEUCE or DIE!!!

I give up on these predictions

1. Drew Brees 555 yards passing – a new NFL record by 1 yard
2. Drew Brees 46 completed passes – a new NFL record by 1
3. Drew Brees 8 TD passes – yep another record

by kssaints on Nov 22, 2008 12:17 AM CST reply actions

Yoda for defensive coordinator!

1. Jeff Charleston and Bobby McCray will each post at least 1 sack.

2. 100 yards rushing for Peter Tom (due mainly to a couple of 20+ yarders.)

3. Matt Flynn goes under center for at least 1 snap.

I’d like to hear a mini-rant from you later about why these predictions didn’t go your way

My pre-surgery predictions

I predict

1. a big game from PT
2. our d to step up and hold Rodgers to a 200 yd, 1 td performance.
3. the game will be close, 27-24

Good luck man

Will have a thought for you on Wednesday.

by FrenchFreak on Nov 22, 2008 10:33 AM CST up reply actions

Let's do this!!!

1- Shockey rubs it in my face by having a huge game proving once and for all I know football as much as I understand women.
2- Payton goes against common sense and try to win this one by challenging Packs’ secondary keeping Deuce under 55 yards.
3- My co-workers all take Tuesday off so they won’t hear me go “All the way, baby” after a 35-31 win on MNF. Fine, will let them have it for the rest of the week!

by FrenchFreak on Nov 22, 2008 10:47 AM CST reply actions

Send Green Bay Packing!!

Reggie has 100+ all-purpose yds

PT has 100+ all purpose yards

Harper gets a pick

Bress will will this one for us with an unreal game moving him up on the MVP list.
4 sacks
Moore another TD
Devery with 2 plays of 50 or more yards
34-27 Saints
Hearts will be broken again but not this week

Saints 28, Pack 24

1. Brees goes for 280 and 3 TDs
2. Colston has 7 catches
3. Grant goes just over 100

by xen-cuts on Nov 22, 2008 5:13 PM CST reply actions

Saints 34, Packers 31

1. Payton challenges a call and loses, again.
2. Colston gets his first TD since coming back.
3. Hartley kicks game winner w/ under 3:00 remaining.

by dicecar18 on Nov 22, 2008 9:11 PM CST reply actions

Can the Saints actually win two in a row this season?

1. Deuce scores early to set Saints TD record, then Payton barely uses him for the rest of the game.
2. Once again I’ll predict that Colston finally scores for the first time this season.
3. Aaron Rodgers gets picked off at least once.

Go Saints!!!!

Predicitions

Brees throws for more than 325 yards
Woodson gets at least one pick
Colston makes at least 6 catches

by SaintsDynasty on Nov 23, 2008 2:33 PM CST reply actions

Packers 28, Saints 21

1. Pierre Thomas puts up at least 100 combined yards.
2. The Saints surrender over 100 yards on the ground.
3. Hartley whiffs on a long field goal.

if #3 happens….the bounty is on your head

by asaint on Nov 24, 2008 1:58 PM CST up reply actions

Packers 30, Saints 24

1. Payton won’t send Hartley out to attempt a field goal beyond 42 yards. (If he does, he’ll miss it.)
2. The Saints contain Ryan Grant for less than 80 yards rushing.
3. …But Aaron Rodgers exploits the Saints’ secondary for more than 325 yards and 3 scores.

by hakimdropstheball on Nov 24, 2008 2:10 PM CST reply actions

Saints 31, Fudge Packers 20

1. Scott Fujita records his first sack of the year on his fellow Cal Bear A-Rod.
2. Jeremy Shockey breaks his incredible streak of three whole games without being responsible for a turnover.
3. Brett Farve gets mentioned at least 9 times and they even show one of his MNF highlight reels.

by asaint on Nov 24, 2008 2:58 PM CST reply actions

1 meachem TD
2 each team scores 3 TD’s
3 saints win in overtime

by RogerMilla on Nov 24, 2008 3:26 PM CST reply actions

Saints 31 - Packers 21

1). The Saints will score a TD and a penalty will void it.
2). Drew Brees will pass for 300 yards.
3). Pack will lose a fumble in their own territory.

Geaux Saints!! Let’s get two in a row.
Lache pas la patate!

by CajunCavern on Nov 24, 2008 4:16 PM CST reply actions

Looks like most the answers are already out there..... So here's my 3

1. Brees keeps pace with marino’s record breaking year completing for +280
2. Our three headed rushing attack gets well into the +100 mark combined with their efforts.
3. While the game is already well in hand.. Colston tacks on another touchdown reception in the latter part of the game…
