Sunday Open Game Thread
Whatever game you are watching today, this is the place to chat about it and how it might affect the Saints. I will be stopping in regularly. As we get closer and closer to the end of the season, every game becomes more and more important so we all need to start paying more attention (assuming the Saints start winning).
This is also the perfect time to announce a new feature on SB Nation. It's SB Nation's NFL scorebard! This is your one stop shop for in game scores, schedules and all the latest blog posts from every other team's blog! Be sure to check it out and for those of you that are into all things NFL, bookmark it and check back often for all the latest and greatest NFL coverage.

Hey Grumps and Satch
I just saw Darth Chief in the pregame clips. The guy is getting regional exposure now.
"Coach Payton REALLY needs to string together some wins."
lol
I wonder what George Lucas would think of that guy. By the way, love your new avatar!

Detroit is in the process of blowing a 17-point lead against the Bucs

You are usewess to me, Daunte Cuwpepper!
On our way to 11-5
I have Jets/Titans
The Titans are flat as Grand Isle. Jets are kicking their butts. One more example of “that’s why they play the games.”
On our way to 11-5
Atlanta 10, Carolina 0
The Falcons are making it look easy. Since beating up on the Saints, Carolina hasn’t really looked too good.
On our way to 11-5
Atlanta 17, Carolina 0
Carolina looks as flat as Grand Isle. Though it hurts to say it, the Falcons are looking more and more like the real deal.
On our way to 11-5
Yeah, I said it
Meant it, too. They remind me of the 2006 Saints, in that they’re playing as though they expect to win. The Saints don’t play that way anymore. Or rather, they play as though winning doesn’t involve anything more than showing up as the favorites. Atlanta is hungry.
On our way to 11-5
snap
I don’t feel so bad about the Atlanta game all of a sudden.
Then again, I don’t feel so great about the KC win last week, either.
I got NY/Ariz too
don’t the networks know where Mobile even is?
Was hoping for Carolina to run the table the rest of the way, makig them bored for Week 17 when they play us in the Dome, by which time we will of course have righted the ship and be in a prime spot for Wild-card.
Sigh
Carolina has come back in the 2nd half
…but now Atlanta is on the 5. Score is 17-13, and Atlanta is looking like they’re not intimidated by the prospect of getting into a slugging match with the Panthers. Coming back against this team is going to be toughter than Fox thought.
On our way to 11-5
TD
First play of the fourth quarter. Atlanta is 6-0 this year when leading into the 4th.
On our way to 11-5
Carolina has come to life!
Thanks to DirecTV, I’m flipping back and forth between all the current games. Uh Oh, Atlanta just scored.

Jake Delhome
I’m starting to wonder if he can indeed lead his team deep into the playoffs this year. He’s been very inconsistent the past few games. I’m starting to think that the Panthers may fizzle out in the next few weeks. If he manages to win this game however, I reserve my right to take all of that back as though I never typed it. :-)

DAMN!
As soon as I start bad-mouthing Jake, he runs for a TD.

Stick a fork in this game. Falcons win.

As it stands now..
If the Saints can actually win a second game in a row tomorrow night (Please, please God!!), the NFC South standings will be:
Panthers 8-3
Bucs 8-3
Falcons 7-4
Saints 6-5
That’s a big IF, but if we get lucky, the division will definitely get more interesting.
Go Saints!!!!

Grey Cup 1st quarter
Montreal Alouettes 13, Calgary Stampeders 3, but who cares.
They’re suppose to show some highlights on MNF halftime.
