"That whole deal was kind of crazy," Brees said. "It’s his job and all of a sudden it’s Brett coming back, and it was kind of back and forth. I think (Rodgers) has proven himself and he’s played pretty well.
"There’s nothing easy about being in that situation, but I think he’s handled it well."
