Critical game, I hope Drew avoids the Ambien on Saturday night
1) Jeff Garcia fails again to defeat the Saints. Will he rejoin the Eagles next year and try again? What would it be then, 0-6?
2) Warrick Dunn is injured during the game and his replacements, Carnell Williams and Clifton Smith, turn in less than stellar performances.
3) Bucs have to pass to keep up, paving the way for 2+ sacks by the Saints.
Saints 27, Bucs 13
Da Chronic continues to be a magnet for opposing teams’ fans. What a community! Take a shot, DTF!!
Green Bay safety Nick Collins put it simply: "We got embarrassed."

Oops and Good job, Satch!
LAST GAME AT SITE: 9/16/07: Buccaneers 31, Saints 14. Tampa QB Jeff Garcia connects with WR Joey Galloway on 2 TDs (69, 24 yards) as Bucs score game’s first 28 points.
Forgot about this. So Jeff G would be 1—5 against the Saints. Well, at least we don’t have to worry about Joey “Creaky” Galloway on Sunday.

Saints squeak past
1. Jason David allows at least one long completion, but also gets a pick.
2. Saints rush for 100+ yards.
3. The difference maker is a score made or set up by a Courtney Roby return.

Saints handle Bucs
Shockey gets first TD
Garcia gets sacked 3 times
Running game is better than last time—since we’re using a better scheme.

3. Roby returns a KO for a TD at the start of the second half.

I'm nervous as hell right now about this game, and it's only Friday
So goes this game, so goes the season, IMHO
1. Game will be decided by 7 or less
2. Shockey does not get off the shneid, failing to get in the endzone (This is a little reverse psychology…I said the same thing last week about Colston, and look what happened.)
3. The Saints have had a ton of pass plays for over 45 yards this season. It won’t happen Sunday.

But hates the Saints
Tell you what Dave: you pull for the Saints against the Bucs this week, and we’ll pull for the Falcons against the Bucs in two weeks. Deal?

Um, yeah..... about that
Y’all might have to pull for the Falcons without me. I remember one year pulling for Auburn so that LSU could be in a better position. I just felt so dirty afterward; I had to take five showers.
(lol)

I pulled for the Falcons this year
against Carolina. I found it surprisingly easy. Maybe it’s Dave’s influence.

I am pulling for the Saints
I just don’t know that they’re going to win this game.
There isn’t a team in the NFL I despise more than the Bucs. The only reason I’d ever root for them is if a Falcons playoff berth hung in the balance. Rest assured, I’ll be happy as an oyster on Prozac if the Bucs get their collective faces stomped.

Well, the Falcons do have Chevis Jackson
We’ll see. I’m still new here. :)

Insanely wrong guesses for this week
1) Hard rain starts falling in the 2nd quarter after teams battle to a 10-10 1st Q tie
2) Both teams go scoreless in 2nd and 3rd quarter
3) Reggie’s long punt return in the 4th sets up another Deuce “TD plunge” for short yardage game-winning score (17-10) as defense holds off TB rally
4) Bonus prediction – 4-game suspensions are handed down on Tuesday for ALL players involved in Star Caps imbroglio (as long as I’m going to be wrong, maybe I can coax some good gris-gris for Deuce and Will).
"One thing that we've talked about is pulling off five, six games in a row," McAllister said. "Well, you had to get two before you got six."

1. there will be a thunderstorm with heavy rain during the game, lightning will temporarily stop play
2. Brees will have his lowest pass yardage of the year
3. each team will commit at least 3 turnovers…one of them will decide the game in the final minute
by kssaints on Nov 29, 2008 10:19 PM CST reply actions 0 recs
Can they actually win 3 in a row?
I certainly hope so.
1. Despite their recent history, the Saints prove they can indeed go on the road and win the week after a huge, emotional victory. The Saints win a close one 27 to 24.
2. Shockey finally scores a TD with the Saints.
3. Roby returns a kickoff for a TD.
Go Saints!!!!

Nervous wreck!!!!
1- Brees throws under 250 and gets pick by Talib
2- Jason David gets burn on at least teo long throws.
3- Lance saves the day.

my 3 picks
1. despite seeing his 1st action of the second half ot the season, Reggie doesn’t lead the team with ball carries, PT is tops in that category.
2. Tampa sinks our playoff hopes alive today.
3. Tampa forces multiple Saints turnovers today
