Around SBN: Two Minutes Of Thunder Basketball Wins The Game

Week 10: Know Who You're Rooting For

Tennessee @ Chicago

Tennessee is AFC so we want to see them continue to be undefeated as they beat Chicago.

Root for: Tennessee

Star-divide

Jacksonville @ Detroit

Detroit is in the NFC. Jacksonville is not. Jacksonville it is.

Root for: Jacksonville

Baltimore @ Houston

This one doesn't really matter for the Saints. Root for who ever you want.

Root for: You decide

Seattle @ Miami

Seattle has been unusually weak this year but even so, we want to see the AFC Dolphins to take care of the Seahawks.

Root for: Miami

Green Bay @ Minnesota

Both teams are in the NFC North and both have 4-4 records. It would be better if they could both lose but that won't happen so it doesn't really matter who wins. Minnesota is probably less of a threat down the road than Green Bay so maybe there could be a slight biased toward the Vikings.

Root for: Either team

Buffalo @  New England

This is a battle for first place in their division but it has no bearing on the Saints chances of making the playoffs.

Root for: You choose

St. Louis @ NY Jets

Yet another AFC vs. NFC matchup. Sorry to those Haslett lovers but the Rams needs to lose this one.

Root for: NY Jets

Carolina @ Oakland

No brainer on this one. Sadly, I don't like Oakland's chances against a pretty strong Panther team but we have to at least hope for a miracle.

Root for: Oakland

Indianapolis @ Pittsburgh

No difference with regards to the Saints but if you're a big supported of all things Manning go ahead and root for the Colts.

Root for: Indianapolis

Kansas City @ San Diego

Both of these teams are probably pretty disappointed with their seasons so far. This being a division game, the Chiefs and Chargers are both hungry for a win but it doesn't matter for the black and gold.

Root for: Doesn't matter

NY Giants @ Philadelphia

If we are to believe that the Giants will continue to win then we want them to run away with it and start picking off other teams in the NFC. A Giants win over the Eagles would help keep the wild card race tighter.

Root for: NY Giants

San Francisco @ Arizona

The same logic as above applies in this situation though the chances that the Niners will be in the race for a wild card spot are much lower than the Eagles chances.

Root for: Arizona

we want the chiefs to continue to be depressed about blowing the Tampa game in time for our arrival next week.

Love this post, though I admit I usually start this process Monday morning for the upcoming week

we lost to the vikes so we need them to lose in case it does come down to a wild card and they have the tie-breaker over us.
