There is nothing more to say other than the fact that the entire 2008 season is pretty much over without a win today. I'll be here with you all today.

"Coach Payton REALLY needs to string together some wins."

"Coach Payton REALLY needs to string together some wins."
no stooge for me , mediaplayer don't like it
"Coach Payton REALLY needs to string together some wins."
Gary Gibbs needs to get suspended for something.
Can we plant some Cocaine or something in his car
WHO DAT
Yep
That is it. Gibbs should know and get him help to defend by doubling or blitzing.

We can nevery convert 3rd and short
Why not a quick hitter to Shockey, what did we bring him here for.
Big Kick
D is going to have to blitz more
We cannot cover them with rushing 4 anyway so why not at least put some presssure on the QB. Gibbs needs to dial it up a little bit.
rotoworld.com:
As a healthy inactive, Meachem has fallen a long way from the preseason hype. The returns of Marques Colston and David Patten and the emergence of Lance Moore and Devery Henderson have left him without an offensive role.

How about this
move Brown to RT, start our backup LT (whose name escapes me, but they always talk about how much they like).
They should have went to him on third down and 2 in the endzone

Afternoon
You enjoying watching the Saints D give Matty Ice a trip to Hawaii?

This has been a pitiful display
How about a little urgency and fire??? Somebody needs to chew their ass out. If Payton won’t, I say let Shockey do it!
I would say Brees
has the leadership and wherewithal to go apeshit when he needs to.

You've probably noticed
That he’s the only pass-rushing threat we have. If he goes down, Brees should have plenty of time.
Another fired punter
Who are we bringing in next.

Ref conspiracy
Play the rest of the game with 2 timeouts.

You know
I’ve got a lot of other things I could be doing instead of watching this bullshit effort. Gibbs #&out is about the next we can hope for here
Doesn't matter
Now, they are just running down the clock

Do you think it is him
Or is it more about our personnell
by SpindianSaints on Nov 9, 2008 2:03 PM CST up reply actions
Both
Gibbs has the most control and he must go.

Coaching is the most important factor
we’ve had many different players and problems are always the same.
But they had a great practice, I hear
the best since Payton has been here

um
first post but, can we just fire gibbs, loomis, and the training staff after this game? this is getting old
by fruly on Nov 9, 2008 2:13 PM CST reply actions 2 recs
Nope
If I had skills to HTML and whatnot I would buy the domain.

He just got a 3 year extension
He aint going nowhere yet.

Oh I know
but this type of complete embarassment when your season is on the line speaks to lack of discipline, preparation and coaching. Wheels could be coming off
Who else would you bring in.
It is not like a coaching change is going to the change the fact that ten times ou of ten Shanle would have been beat by Norwood on that play. We just do not have the players to compete on defense.
We need to cut Charles Grant, maybe even Will Smith and start relaoding thru draft choices. Porter looked like a player, play Usuma and see if he has anything. We need to look at saftey as well because of them stink.
by SpindianSaints on Nov 9, 2008 2:22 PM CST up reply actions
Not just one play
It’s been the whole season so far. Questionable play calls and personnel decisions.
by Steve the fan on Nov 9, 2008 2:23 PM CST up reply actions
Totally disagree
You can’t just blame the players. Good goaches make mediocre players look good; bad coaches make mediocre players look crappy
I would like to know what game film and scouting reports
Gibbs and his defensive staff went over to prepare for this game. Because coming off of a bye, we should have been prepared for everything and had a plan to disrupt Matty Ice.
This is the Reason
I declined to go to buffalo wild wings with my friends …
Nothing worse then sitting at a sports bar, watching your team get smoked & getting clowned by your cronies
Most important game of the season
and that’s what we got from our team? Just can’tt blame it all on Gibbs and Payton
Absolutely no execution
Almost as if they DIDN"T PRACTICE the onsides kick.
by Steve the fan on Nov 9, 2008 2:38 PM CST up reply actions
Damn
I honestly forgot, that they did just pick this guy up.
by Steve the fan on Nov 9, 2008 2:40 PM CST up reply actions
Payton
has no faith in the defense or Gibbs to stop the Falcons. Hopefully, this means Gibbs will be gone at the end of the season.
Not a matter of us scoring
the defense couldn’t stop the Raiders at this point

Pierre Thomas
I know it doesn’t make sense in this game, but I remain convinced that he would be a great feature back for you guys. Just my (worthless) two cents.
The problem
is that Payton would rather throw 60 some odd times than run the ball.

The National Football League
I can has defence, plz
by Steve the fan on Nov 9, 2008 2:55 PM CST up reply actions
Sorry you guys had to be on the other end of that
My best wishes for your defense going forward and may you ALWAYS destroy the Bucs.
Scary part?
The best team won today. Think your greatest asset was loosing Petrino, not Vick. We’ve been outplayed AND outcoached….
Well it is official
we suck – sitcj a fork in us, we’re done.
We’re going to learn over the next 7 weeks who wants to be here and who doesn’t.
We're also going to learn
If Payton can keep this team together or if we need to start the death watch
At least
my girlfriend wanna be is pretty happy about me having some free time on upcoming sundays….
