9 COMPLETE PASSES -  9

Can anyone out there tell me if they can ever remember an NFL game where a team won and only completed 9 passes?  I didn't think it could be done.  It would seem that you would need an td runback on an interception or a defender falling on the ball in the endzone for a defensive touch down, or a couple of safeties or something.

Or, you might expect it if a team rushed for 239 yards or so.  But TB rushed for 149 yards and only had 109 yards passing.  Sometimes the Saints do things that are absolutely beyond comprehension.    9 complete passes?  How can you lose when your opponent only completes 9 passes? I guess you have to give it to Gruden, he knew the game would be decided by protecting the football and they did.  Our coach thought we were in a dome and that monsoon was a figment of his imagination.

I know nothing can change what happened vs. the Bucs, but

The Colts won yesterday without scoring an offensive touchdown. First time since 2003.

"One thing that we've talked about is pulling off five, six games in a row," McAllister said. "Well, you had to get two before you got six."

Think that's bad?

“The Ravens eventually won easily, 34-7. Dilfer’s game stats were 12 completions for 153 yards and 1 TD.”

Still earned him a ring.

By the way, didn’t we have a winning record last year when Reggie was out as we did this yesr? Thought so….

blame it on Reggie...

what about 06 when he was in and we went to the playoffs?

Want some anguish?

How about this one:

Before Reggie scored his first touchdown, the Saints were .750. Since that point, they have been .500. We haven’t been any good since Reggie started scoring.
