Starcaps Latest...
I stated these same observations in a post a week or two ago. If the NFL willingly kept the information from its players that starcaps contained a diuretic, they were putting them at serious risk.
I believe the "urine tests" were from training camp or shortly after. The NFL would be singing a different tune if one of these players would have suffered heat stroke or heat exhaustion.
Deuce may not be a Saint next year but he should be a rich ex-Saint when this case is resolved.

Temporary injuction gives players more time
Good news for the Saints and the Vikings, and bad news for their opponents.
Adam Schefter at nfl.com reports:
A Minnesota judge extended his preliminary injunction on Thursday against the NFL’s suspension of five players for violating the league’s anti-doping policy, clearing the players to play for two more weeks.
Given that the parties have been asked to propose a schedule to file pleadings by Dec. 22, which precedes the actual pleadings, the hearing of the case and then the decision, it’s likely all of the players involved will be done playing by the time any decision is made. What is means is that the five Vikings and Saints players who tested positive for a banned diuretic are probably good to play for the rest of the season and the playoffs.
It looks like Will and Deuce along with the Williams duo will be able to play out the season. HOORAY!
Go Saints!!!!
