Detroit game

Who else was going?

I know at least two of us are.

The season is not over.  The Saints have two very important tasks left to complete.

#1 - Not allow the Lions to beat them.  Being nice to let the winless Lions avoid 0-16 is just not allowed.

#2 - Not lose a home div game.  I am not tottally sure on this one but I think I saw something about all NFC south teams have won their division home games so far.

Two more reasons to go all out

This one, admittedly, is remote: both Tampa and Atlanta are at 9-5. There is still a chance that the Saints can catch either or both of them in the standings. If we can do that, it will go a long way toward redeeming what little there is left to be redeemed about this season.

Besides: if the Saints win their last two games, that would mean that every team in the NFC South is above .500. I don’t know if that has ever happened, in any division (Saintsational?). For the pride of our division, the Saints should play their hearts out.

Three years of deteriorating results is enough. Replace Gary Gibbs!

hell yes

I am SICK of the MSM’s (ha!) spending all their time with the NFC east and the AFC east. I don’t give a crap if half the USA TV’s are in that time zone (according to M-E’s secret favorite, Peter King), the NFC South deserves some respect. (3 of 4 of the teams are in that time zone anyway, what King is saying is the Northeast, or as we disparagingly refer to it around here, “back east” meaning everything east of Chicago. Sorry, Dave. At least you moved.)

What Carolina’s running game did to the Bucs on Monday night was scary. And I don’t think that was the Bucs’ giving it up (as I heard Jamie Dukes [who the hell is he???] say on NFLN).

Giants don’t look so good right now, do they?

man!!!

I had a dream last night that Detroit was beating us in the 3rd quarter. I can’t remember much but I remember Calvin Johnson had a monster night and I was like “3 touchdowns, man we can comeback from that”

Don't worry I got your back cuz...

That could come true. Calvin has been killing it. Another shootout, against Detroit??
