What a bunch of bullshit

The number one offense in the league, and all we can muster is an alternate for the quarterback? Yet another good argument to END the farcical Pro Bowl.

Three years of deteriorating results is enough. Replace Gary Gibbs!

Hummm

Outside of Brees starting, who else should have gone? Kurt just got the start cause he’s like 62 years old and had a good season.

No T.O.

He’ll be happy this week.

John Carney as PK must sicken Payton and Loomis. We’d be 9-5 right now without having made that move. Guess what record the wild-card leaders have?

Sigh

2 games out of the 4 more we should have won this year (Chicago & Washington the other two).

I think Carney’s release was the beginning of Payton getting a case of the stupids. I hope the new guy continues to do well

I'm proud of my damn strong football team. Have a great day!

I love rotoworld.com
Lance Briggs was the only Chicago Bear to make the Pro Bowl.
That means six-time Pro Bowlers Brian Urlacher and Olin Kreutz did not make the squad. We can’t argue with any of the choices, although we thought Briggs might get left off as well. This is his fourth Pro Bowl.

At least the NFC isn't overloaded with Washington Redskin players

Remember the story a few weeks ago about this huge campaign to vote as many Redskins onto the roster as possible? They did get four onto the team, so maybe it worked just a little.

I would have liked to see Jonathon Vilma make it. Maybe it’s just me, but I think he’s been very valuable to our D this year. He seems to have a very steadily high motor and is always close to wherever the play goes, except on the many long pass plays where a cornerback got burned of course. I think he and Jahri Evans would be the only other two Saints that really deserved to go, based on year-long production. I just hope Brees doesn’t get injured this time. Still, I’m glad he’s going at least to represent the Saints. Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t even watch the game.

I’m kind of glad the “Williams Wall” from Minnesota both made the squad. That’s a nice F**K YOU to Roger Goodell. I wonder if he tries to suspend them for that game.

Go Saints!!!!

Lance Moore

What about Lance Moore. I realize the guy has finally started to get some recognition and only been seen by the league as coming around as of late but this is not so. He has always been a reliable target for Brees every time he is on the field. Its only that he has gotten more playing time this second half of the season and been on the field more to have opportunities and we all know that he has made the most of them. The guy seems like a smart receiver running the right routes, being where he needs to be, and making every catch thrown his way. And if that reliability wasn’t enough, the guy is not satisfied with making the catch and being tackled; he tries his ass off to get more yards after the catch and has a nose for the end zone. I like the guy. I think he is not only a talented receiver but also a work horse who strives to improve and help his team each week. He should have at least been on the damn ballot to have the opportunity to be picked.

Hello narc

Welcome to our little club. You just opened the Lance Moore thread, where somebody goes on about his Yards after the catch YAC and how he doesn’t like to take a hit so he goes down even when no defender is close. I myself do not care, Lance can catch and he can get open. I think he is not well known around the league. Especially in the eastern time zone, northern section. Where it counts.

yea I agree

….But I think that will change in years to come. More people will recognize him (lance Moore) as a real talent the more playing time he gets and if he keeps being a reliable target for Brees. I’m a big Saints fan, been watching this team and backing them since I was my son’s age. I came across this site and read some really good post here. Just thought I would add a comment or two. Oh and gotta say it because seems like a fan tradition to me, “next year” yall wait and see :) hope I am finally right for a change though.
