Any Question About the Lions?
Below is a FanPost written by Sean Yuille, SB Nation's Detroit Lions blogger at Pride of Detroit. Be sure to check out my FanPost over there and help answer some questions.

Just as Saintsational did over on my blog, Pride of Detroit, I decided to head over to CSC to see if anybody had questions about the Lions. I'm sure it is a weird feeling for your team to play a winless team in Week 16 of the season, but that's understandable. Things like this don't happen often, so if you have any questions, post them and I will give you an answer before Sunday's game gets going.

You do know we've been through this too
0-14, Dec. 14, 1980, vs. New York Jets. Saints win their first game of the season by 1 point.
Saints fans dealt with the pain by inventing the Aints, the bagheads, and the whole thing became one big communal joke. How are Detroit fans dealing with it?
Three years of deteriorating results is enough. Replace Gary Gibbs!

Most are dealing with it by not caring
Attendance has gotten scary bad with every home game (not counting the Thanksgiving one). The Lions have been blacked out five times this season and people are really just starting to become apathetic. The ones that are still around are doing what Lions fans normally do every year: looking to the draft and discussing that.

GM blues
Hey Sean, where are the Ford Lions at in the search for a general manager? Can you imagine a scenario where the owners actually hire a competent football guy who can build a winner?

I honestly don't know
Going on past experiences, I would guess that their list looks pretty pathetic. They really seem clueless, so I would be shocked if someone competent was hired.

With Millen getting canned, and an interim GM in place (or no one)
I’ve read/heard speculation that Marinelli will be gone after the season…has it gotten far enough along to have a “short list” of possible coaching candidates?
And please know that we feel your pain about this kind of season and wish you the best of luck in breaking your losing streak…in Week 17.
I can remember in December of the Saints dreary 1980 campaign, riding to school on the bus one cold Monday morning and hearing a song on the radio – a reimagining of a Christmas carol in honor of the Saints terrible start to the season. Looking back, we had a pretty cool bus driver – he listened to WWL and I heard this song when someone called in to the morning Saints show sang it: (to the tune of Silver Bells, borrowing from the chorus)
0-1, 0-2, soon we will be 0-3!
0-4, 0-5, soon we will be 0-6!
0-7, 0-8, soon we will be 0-9!
0-10, 0-11, soon we will be 0-12!
0-13, 0-14, soon we will be 0-15!
0-16, 0-16, soon it will be 1981!

We really have no idea about who a new coach might be
We’re still wondering about the GM situation.
