Hope for Deuce After All????

Hey boys and girls....ala Rotoworld this morning...

The NFLPA will file a lawsuit Thursday to overturn all suspensions issued Tuesday by the league for any player who took Starcaps.

This lawsuit could eventually be combined with the temporary "restraining order" Vikings DTs Pat and Kevin Williams were already granted on Wednesday that may allow the Vikings to play. The NFLPA case would also include the three suspended Saints. A ruling could be down by Friday.

I hope this story continues for months

As long as action against this NFL injustice continues, the real story will continue to come out and help clear the tarnished reputations of Deuce and the other 6 players. Heir Goodel and the rest can’t be allowed to just wipe their hands of this. It’s simply not as cut and dried as the league is trying to portray it. With this and the unjust fines levied against players and coaches who dare voice their opinions about the many glaring problems with the league, it’s like the NFL is trending towards an all-out dictatorship. SCREW THAT!

I hope they keep fighting this but I’m not all that anxious to see Deuce’s suspension lifted because Payton isn’t going to play him very much if at all in any of these last four games anyway. This lack of use by Payton is dishonorable to a proven franchise star like himself. I truly hate to see him standing on the sideline with his helmet on, wanting to go in, and not called upon. If he’s still battling knee ailments at gametime, then list him as “Questionable” or “Doubtful” on the injury report and I’ll be fine with not seeing him in the game. When he’s healthy, I still don’t understand why he doesn’t get more touches with such a struggling run game. I say, let him go now, let the truth about this NFL injustice later come out in court to clear his good name, and then let him go next season to a team and coach that are intelligent enough to appreciate him.

Go Saints!!!!

The suit is filed...

we should hear something later today whether the judge will block the suspensions…

The NFL Players Association has filed a federal lawsuit in Minnesota this morning on behalf of five of the six players that were suspended Tuesday for violating the NFL’s policy on steroids and related substances.

The suit is seeking to overturn the suspensions and the action will ask for a ruling by Friday, which could make the players eligible to return to the field for this Sunday’s games.
