Because Carolina is playing Monday night, the local Fox affiliate is deigning to carry a Saints game! Okay, it’s really a Falcons game, for all the leftover Falcons fans up here in this corner of the Carolinas…but it’s a Saints game to us. Andouille po-boys for lunch and a Saints game…can’t do better than that on a freezing mountain afternoon.

Hate to sound all Oprah, but we had it in us all along. All we had to do was commit to it. Bush and Thomas are one hell of a tandem, just like Bush and Deuce were in 2006.
Now: Atlanta had the 21st-best rushing defense in the NFL. Chicago has the 6th-best. Will it work against the Bears? If it doesn’t, the Bears have the 29th-best passing defense. We should be able to take those guys, one way or another; but it would be great if we could just take it to them on the ground and beat them.
