Rotoworld on Deuce and Pierre:
"Deuce McAllister gained no yards on his lone Week 14 carry.
McAllister entered in the second quarter. The Saints gave it to him on 3rd and one inside Atlanta's ten and he came up well short. Coach Sean Payton catches some heat in New Orleans for barely using McAllister, but with both Reggie Bush and Pierre Thomas running well giving Deuce the ball in that situation was a bad move. The Saints had to settle for a field goal. McAllister didn't play again and is all but out of the mix for carries going forward."
Dec. 7 - 4:07 p.m. ET"Pierre Thomas ran for 102 yards on 16 carries and a touchdown and caught a seven-yard touchdown pass from Drew Brees as the Saints beat Atlanta 29-25 in Week 14. New Orleans' record is up to 7-6.
The Saints dominated Atlanta in the ground game and Thomas exploded through massive holes. He danced in from seven yards out on his third-quarter TD after a quick pass, but inexplicably didn't get the carry when New Orleans went for two and Reggie Bush fumbled on the one. Pierre had the hot hand and needed to get the ball there. While Thomas scored again from five yards out in the fourth and has a definite major role, coach Sean Payton is playing too many games with his backs. Hopefully he's learned from that mistake."
