But seriously, folks…
If you’ve got a team with a weak offense, you need a good kicker. I always thought Andersen was top notch and I believe he won a lot of games for the Saints. That’s just my memory of him. That and the two different shoes. Anyone disagree? Is he overrated? I have never seen a fan wearing his jersey.
Morten Andersen could give Deuce a run for his money
…in the “beloved Saint” category. The guy was money, an absolute rock. He was as predictable as sunrise: line up for a potential game-winner, Morten kicks it. Never let us down…until the pusillanimous foreign creep signed with THE FALCONS!!! That undid everything.
Actually, I still remember him with great fondness. I’d wear his jersey…if I wore other people’s clothes.

Otherwise he would always be my favorite kicker. As it stands now I just dont have a favorite anymore.
