Really not much new today. The Times-Pic and Sun Herald all wrote about the 16 undrafted free agent signings. Old news there if you are a CSC reader.

For the Who Dat's who go back a bit, you may find this of interest. OL Jim Dombrowski was one of 15 players elected into the College Football Hall of Fame. Check out the article here from the New Orleans Saints official website.

A relentless worker with extreme intensity, the 5-foot-11, 205-pound safety went on to have a stellar career at Houston where he became one of the program's all-time leading tacklers. If not for a knee injury his junior year, it's very likely Schwartz would have been drafted.

He received a phone call from Saints head coach Sean Payton which indicated the Saints are very interested in him. Don't forget, the New York Giants had quite a few free agents make a significant contribution to their Super Bowl year.

There's no reason to believe Rocky Schwartz won't win a spot on the Saints roster.

We haven't picked up a S in free agency or in the draft, so maybe this is our guy.

In unrelated Saints news, Jay Cutler was diagnosed with Type I diabetes. I found it here at Houma Today.  Jay will be fine, and it wont affect his career.
