The Times-Pic is doing its countdown of the all-time greatest sports teams in New Orleans history. Today they released their pick at the #6 spot and it is the 1992 New Orleans Saints. Check out the whole article for their complete analysis and breakdown.

6th?? I would think 3rd at least

2006 Saints have to be in the top 5. What else is there?? Maybe the Tulane Women’s Tennis team of 1957??? David Gladow should let his roommate or his mom do these videos. And TURN IT UP, I can hardly hear you mumble.

My Guess

My guess would be that some of the others are the 2000 Saints (1st ever playoff win), the 2008 Hornets, and the 2006 Saints in the no.1 spot. That leaves two more slots open for other teams. Maybe the 2005 Saints get a spot because they had to battle through so much adversity and homelessness that season.
