Wats The Deal With These Make-Shift Ass CB's

I've been a saints fan 4 eva, but I'm having a hard time understanding why are we still signing all of these BIG no name players. We just signed two that probably wont even make the team. Don't get me wrong I love most of the moves that we have made this offseason but I'm ready for a championship!!! Now and more later on.... We have the one of the best offenses in the NFL so I was wondering about the 'D'. I guess my point is that we have about 9 or 10 CB's on our roster, why don't we ship/cut 3 or 4 for Lito S. Lito, Harper, a health Madd Mike?? Hell, we could throw anybody else in the picture and just like that MAGIC!!! I maybe wrong but that sounds like 15 - 20 INT's. When we sign Big Willie, we will still be under the cap, so wats the big deal. A 3rd or 4th rounder with conditions, maybe a 2nd round pick next year. Make me understand the reasoning behind this. Please make me understand this!!

I don't like Lito Shepard

I’m thinking if the Saints got him, it’d be like when the Chiefs signed Ty Law. A lot of money for a guy whose best days are behind him. Lito gets hurt a lot. So who’s left? DeAngelo Hall is a Raider, the best place for him. Both of these guys would be bad for team chemistry. Champ Bailey is spoken for, Ronde Barber is too old, and that kid on the Jags isn’t going anywhere. Looks like we develop our own. Tracy Porter might be the man.

Check the Superbowl tapes

Didn’t you get the memo, dude? Copycat league says last team to win the Super Bowl sets a precedent on how to get er done next year. Tampa = Cover 2, Pats = FAs ahoy, Pittsburgh = power rushing, now the Giants = pass rush…

If the G-men can win it all with a secondary that looks as dog-rough as that unit did, and win it against a team that was setting passing records right, left and centre last year, then why in the hell would we need to worry about paying stupid money to look for this mythical Shutdown Corner? D-line’s where it’s at, baby…

Which is why we REALLY need to stop messin around and get Will Smith signed long-term. Paying Colston fair money while we’ve still got the cap room would seem to make sense too.
