Can Lynell Hamilton Or Chris Barclay Make The Practice Squad
If you will recall that two or three years ago there a running back that made the practice squad. It was Jamaal Branch. He made it even though they had Duece, Bush, Stecker, and, at the time, Fred McAffee. This man showed up in preseason and ran the ball well. What happened wat pure bad luck, on the his first play, in a regular season game, on special teams, he busted up his knee. That Happens, it is football.
This year, there is a couple of runners that are in the same position. They are Chris Barclay and Lynell Hamilton. Hamilton is your qitessential big back, while Baclay is a speed player. I would like to see both of these player make the practice squad. They could be potential replacements for Duece and Stecker because neither of those Aformentioned players may be long for this team. We all know Duece's story, a running back, in his late twenties, who has suffered through a multitude even coming out of college. Even thoug Stecker may have a little more tread on the the tire than most of the running backs his age, he is still over the less thatn magical age of thirty.
Hamilton and Barclay may or may not be the answer, but they can be the stop cap until the team gets the answer.
