Henderson, Moore, Arrington, and Copper...
if you are the GM and can only keep two, who do you cut and why? (hypothetical...might keep all but one)
i say keep henderson for his speed and experience (not his hands)...
and keep moore as a change of pace, pesky slot receiver. i like him more than patten.
cut copper and arrington...
i love copper. i think he is a great role player/special teams guy. dependable #5 wr, good hands/size, but little upside.
i love arrington. lots of upside potential. very very talented. would have taken him over moore, but it looks like his injury might keep him off the squad. wish i could keep all of them...
BUT
colston, meachem, patten, henderson, moore looks pretty good!
what do you guys think?

Cut Henderson
An incomplete pass can stall a drive; a stalled drive can be the difference between a win and a loss; and one loss can be the difference between the playoffs and staying at home. A receiver must catch the ball. That’s his primary function. If he cannot be relied upon to do that, he cannot be on the team.
Henderson cannot be depended upon to make the catch; all the other receivers can, and so Henderson is at the top of the cut list. He may be fast, but Meachem is faster. He may have experience, but mostly it’s in dropping the ball. Besides, Patten is our “experience” guy, not Henderson.
I’m reluctant to cut Copper because he’s reliable and he’s a top special teams performer; and nobody has earned his right to be on the team this preseason if Lance Moore hasn’t. As for Arrington…if I couldn’t fit him on the final roster, I’d give him his choice: we cut you and give you a chance to make some other team (he would, and he’d be a star), or we keep you by placing you on injured reserve. Your choice, but remember who believed in you first.
But in my mind, the final spot comes down to Copper or Arrington, and Arrington has more upside. I think we could start the season with only Colston, Patten, Meachem, and Moore available, and still be very good. Arrington could sit until he’s fully recovered, and then we’d have the finest receiver corps in the NFL (and yes, that includes the Patriots and the Colts).

Ploy....
Ok. I have to reveal the SECRET.
Henderson has dropped the ball intentionally.
It has been a 2 year bait and switch job that was planned to put us in Tampa.
shakes his head and wakes up from his dream
Sigh it was such a nice one.
Ok.. Moore = hands of glue, no ypc
Arrington = youth, project
Copper = wisdom and leadership
Henderson = blazing speed and no confidence the ball will be in his hands.
