Saints Could Return to San Antonio

Alamodome officials tell KSAT 12 Sports they are both willing and able to accommodate the Saints from Sept. 2 to 5 should the need arise, but since the turf will not be set at the dome, Saints officials have also been in contact with the San Antonio Independent School District as well, said SAISD Athletic Director Gil Garza.

Yesterday

The news yesterday said Payton said they had a plan but he wouldn’t elaborate on what the plans were. I think they were trying to avoid having to mention S A until it became absolutely necessary. With the team clicking and gearing up for a possible playoff run and having the unprecedented support from the fans and the region since Katrina the last thing the team wants or needs is to re-hash the hard feelings from 3 years ago with all the talk of moving to S A. Hopefully the trends continue west. While I don’t wish this on our neighbors to the west, New Orleans and the Miss. coast region are not prepared for another direct hit from a major storm.
