Saints Sign Six to Practice Squad
The players signed were G Tim Duckworth, LB Jo-Lonn Dunbar, WR Skyler Green, RB Lynell Hamilton, TE Buck Ortega and DE Josh Savage.
This leaves two more spots still open for the practice squad. Running back Jermaine Allen is also a member of the practice squad as part of the teams international development programs.

I would have kept Mehlhaff over Skyler Green. Although I’m happy for Green and I think this was very generous towards him, this makes Mehlhaff a total waste of a pick, I think. I’m happy they kept Dunbar and Hamilton looked okay at times.

I agree that Mehlhaff was a wasted draft pick…but the fault was Mehlhaff’s, not Loomis’. All he had to do was kick off like he did in college, and he totally botched it.
