I checked out today's chat at nola.com/Times-Pic and saw a post that I'd like to expand upon.

Why can't the Saints corners line up closer to the receivers and jam them at the line of scrimmage? That's what happened to Shockey, throwing him out of rhythm...

I believe it was Joe Montana who was quoted before this last Giants/Patriots superbowl.  I can only paraphrase here, I don't have the quote, but he said there was only one way he knew to beat undefeated New England.  Running downfield with Randy Moss hoping either he or Brady makes a mistake is hopeless.  You HAVE to get physical with both of them.  Hit Moss at the line on the snap, and I mean hit his ass hard.  Screw up his route timing (yes, I think Moss actually runs routes, or he is supposed to anyway).  And hit Tom Brady hard.  Knock him down.  Hurry his throws.  If you sack him, that's a bonus.  But rough his ass up.  Easier said than done, and hard to do for 4 quarters.  But that is exactly what the Giants did, for 4 quarters, and it was enough for a win.  We need some more BADASSES on the Saints.  Vilma is, and the Dunbar kid appears to be.  McKenzie can be, but we need more.  I want to see somebody get jacked up.  COME ON!!!!
