Morning All...

I’m ready for the Saints to get this one started…. Very anxious to see if they’re playin Duece today!!!! So anxious!

by dell00 on Sep 28, 2008 11:26 AM CDT reply actions

Good Morning

I didn’t have internet last week thanks to AT&T telling me its going to take them till Oct 7 to come check my phone box, so i have my house wiring tied directly into their line coming off the pole. They played some good ball the last 2 weeks but just didn’t close the deal in the end. Hopefully they can and wil today!!

by BayouRebel on Sep 28, 2008 11:45 AM CDT reply actions

Report: Deuce will play today!

I just heard that he is part of the game plan and is expected to get about 10-12 snaps. Let’s all just pray for no more injuries.

Go Saints!!!!

Dear Reggie

If you run backwards, there will probably be lots of open field. But you should not go in that direction! Take the difficult path forward…

by xen-cuts on Sep 28, 2008 12:06 PM CDT reply actions

They’re gonna tear us apart if we can’t get any pass rush on O’Sullivan… Once again.. they’re exposing our weak secondary

by dell00 on Sep 28, 2008 12:18 PM CDT reply actions

looks like grant got the sack I called! ha!

by dell00 on Sep 28, 2008 12:18 PM CDT reply actions

Deuce...

…just stepped in!!!!!!!

by FrenchFreak on Sep 28, 2008 12:20 PM CDT reply actions

Correction...

I called for a Will Smith sack… But I’ll settle on a Charles Grant sack also

by dell00 on Sep 28, 2008 12:36 PM CDT reply actions

Hey Dell

Are you watching from a web feed? Saintsatinal link to Andromeda doesn’t work on my PC but works with my Mac. Good thing I’m at work where I got both

by FrenchFreak on Sep 28, 2008 12:45 PM CDT up reply actions

Brees

Drew is not looking sharp at all today. I dunno if it was the INT or the defense they showing but he has not even been close on a few of his passes

by BayouRebel on Sep 28, 2008 12:45 PM CDT reply actions

OK

I officially withdraw my comment about Drew not looking sharp.

by BayouRebel on Sep 28, 2008 1:38 PM CDT up reply actions

Yeah, I got the Andromeda feed to Dave lfor last weeks game...

It has about a 10 second lag on it, but it’s been working really well so far (a helluvalot better then justin.tv)

by dell00 on Sep 28, 2008 12:54 PM CDT reply actions

Looks like

they woke up, good offense, good special teams and defense forced a 3 and out last drive!

by BayouRebel on Sep 28, 2008 12:58 PM CDT reply actions

I'm sure

having Deuce back is surely helping. And he looks good too so far!

by BayouRebel on Sep 28, 2008 12:59 PM CDT up reply actions

Guess Drew...

…just had to get use having Deuce behind him

by FrenchFreak on Sep 28, 2008 1:00 PM CDT reply actions

DEUCE IS BACK BABY!!!!

Nice to have some kind of a running game

by FrenchFreak on Sep 28, 2008 1:10 PM CDT reply actions

Duece

Duece duece is looking real good

by Realsaint on Sep 28, 2008 1:11 PM CDT reply actions

nice

Moore is stepping up for us. i love this kid.

by Realsaint on Sep 28, 2008 1:12 PM CDT reply actions

DEUCE!

He gets hit 2 yards behind the line of scrimmage and still falls forward for a yard gain. Lance Moore scores again!! More fantasy points for me!!!!

Go Saints!!!!

by David "Satch" Kelly on Sep 28, 2008 1:13 PM CDT reply actions

Porter

gets a sack — 4th of the game!!

by BayouRebel on Sep 28, 2008 1:15 PM CDT reply actions

SACK AGAIN!!

Our D is dominating!

Go Saints!!!!

by David "Satch" Kelly on Sep 28, 2008 1:16 PM CDT reply actions

Heard that quote?

“Could be the best QB in the league right now”

by FrenchFreak on Sep 28, 2008 1:33 PM CDT reply actions

KAESVIHARN!!

That’s what I’ve been waiting to see—one of our safetys lay a crushing hit on a WR.

Go Saints!!!!

by David "Satch" Kelly on Sep 28, 2008 1:35 PM CDT reply actions

Sorry but...

…he got burned so much last week that it’ll take more thant that to make a fan out of me…

by FrenchFreak on Sep 28, 2008 1:38 PM CDT up reply actions

Hey put your vote in for me now... LOL

GAME PREDICTION:

. Breez pitches back to Bush for their first big trick play of the year… via the halfback pass to a tight end…

2. McCray & Will Smith both get to O’ Sullivan & record sacks….

3. Duece PLAYS!!!! Carries +8 times & goes over 50 on the ground…

SAINTS WIN (2-2)
31-10

by dell00 on Sep 28, 2008 2:05 PM CDT reply actions

Where's Stujo?

Campbell gets a reception and comes up hurt yet again. I hate to see that because we are already thin at TE.

Go Saints!!!!

by David "Satch" Kelly on Sep 28, 2008 2:06 PM CDT reply actions

Whats the deal with McCray anyways...

He wasn’t on the injured list…. why hasn’t he been getting any playing time?

by dell00 on Sep 28, 2008 2:10 PM CDT reply actions

We now know...

….why the Saints got rid of O’Sullivan

by FrenchFreak on Sep 28, 2008 2:19 PM CDT reply actions

KAESVIHARN!! INT!!!

He certainly isn’t the best safety in the league, but he’s doing well in this game so far.

Go Saints!!!!

by David "Satch" Kelly on Sep 28, 2008 2:23 PM CDT reply actions

Today...

…and today only, I’ll bow for the guy

by FrenchFreak on Sep 28, 2008 2:32 PM CDT up reply actions

I’ve been wanting to see that

by asaint on Sep 28, 2008 2:28 PM CDT reply actions

Meachem

I think he’ll be starting before long. When Colston gets back, the two of them as starting WRs will be horrifying for the rest of the league.

Go Saints!!!!

by David "Satch" Kelly on Sep 28, 2008 2:29 PM CDT reply actions

DUDE!

Colston, Shockey, Moore, and Meachem!!! oh yeah and devry and patten

by asaint on Sep 28, 2008 2:31 PM CDT up reply actions

Bush got into a fight

After they separated him from the 49er, Reggie was still trying to get at him.

Go Saints!!!!

by David "Satch" Kelly on Sep 28, 2008 2:32 PM CDT up reply actions

Right now

I’m at my father in laws, he’s a minnesota fan and the ALWAYS play at the same time.

by asaint on Sep 28, 2008 2:35 PM CDT reply actions

DEUUUUUCCE!! TD!!

That’s a sight that nearly brings tears of joy to my eyes.

Go Saints!!!!

by David "Satch" Kelly on Sep 28, 2008 2:36 PM CDT reply actions

Are you making fun of my prediction?
D-Fence!!!!
1- Ellis gets one of 3 sacks
2- David gets a pick closing the books on a 28-20 victory.
3- 3 conversion on 3rd and short by Deuce bring a tear to my eye…

GEAUX Saints!!!!

by FrenchFreak on Sep 28, 2008 2:38 PM CDT up reply actions

Wow...Payton must feel like a DOUCHE NOW...

FOR NOT LETTING DUECE TAKE A SHOT ON THOSE PAST 3&1’s & 4th & GOALS!!!!! IF ONLY…………………

by dell00 on Sep 28, 2008 2:41 PM CDT reply actions

I still think...

….Payton knew what he was doing

by FrenchFreak on Sep 28, 2008 2:42 PM CDT up reply actions

ANOTHER PICK!!

I think the Saints are actually on the plus side of the season turnover ratio so far. The D is earning some serious respect this game.

Go Saints!!!!

by David "Satch" Kelly on Sep 28, 2008 2:46 PM CDT reply actions

YEah satch...

Of course… lets not forget how bad the 9ers really are…

We can’t sugercoat it, even if we try…

by dell00 on Sep 28, 2008 2:47 PM CDT reply actions

Not saying..

the D has totally become one of the league’s best, but they have been heavily criticized as of late and essentially had two losses blamed on them, which they did somewhat deserve. If nothing else, I think we are starting to see the defensive changes and additions start to gel and become a better unit than last season.

Go Saints!!!!

by David "Satch" Kelly on Sep 28, 2008 2:55 PM CDT up reply actions

At 28-9....

…wouldn’t you go easy with Deuce? Let Pierre get more than,,,1 yard up to now

by FrenchFreak on Sep 28, 2008 2:49 PM CDT reply actions

Almost got...

…my David’s pick prediction! Think I’ll buy loto ticket tonight

by FrenchFreak on Sep 28, 2008 3:00 PM CDT reply actions

That's more than once

I hear “well covered by Jason David”. Is this the Twilight Zone?

by BayouRebel on Sep 28, 2008 3:00 PM CDT reply actions

other then that last drive......

it is pleasing to the eye how good our 2ndary can look with a decent pass rush…. Why can’t we play like this every week ya know??? I think our defense needs to come out hungry like this more often, not just in spurts….

by dell00 on Sep 28, 2008 3:07 PM CDT reply actions

Got to admit

Like some of you guys mentionned it, the O-Line seeems to be opening better holes for Deuce

by FrenchFreak on Sep 28, 2008 3:11 PM CDT reply actions

I don’t even know if it’s the O-line tho…. Duece has that determination & grit on his side…. I’ll give the 0-line some of the credit though… but he’s willing himself into some tough yards today, and looks really good while doing so

by dell00 on Sep 28, 2008 3:13 PM CDT reply actions

Agree

He made good, even with blown plays

by FrenchFreak on Sep 28, 2008 3:15 PM CDT up reply actions

Alright guys.....

I’m thrilled…! We needed that win! BAD… We’re 2 games above where we were last year… With a hurt squad!!! The future looks bright!

by dell00 on Sep 28, 2008 3:22 PM CDT reply actions

Saints 2-2

I’m happy with this game. It feels great to get a W after those last two. I’m signing off. Let’s all bask in the warm glow of this win and hope this is the beginning of something good.

Go Saints!!!!

by David "Satch" Kelly on Sep 28, 2008 3:23 PM CDT reply actions

Also

I take back anything negative I said about Payton. I should have been more patient with him and how he was using Deuce.

Go Saints!!!!

by David "Satch" Kelly on Sep 28, 2008 4:05 PM CDT reply actions

Well....

That was mighty big of you

by asaint on Sep 28, 2008 4:38 PM CDT up reply actions

I dont.

I think Payton blew it. If Deuce was bulldozing this game and had 20 carries, chances are he was healthy enough a week before for 4 short yardage runs.
