As the Coach Turns

We are smack dab in the middle of a coaching transition period and with the most recent  changes made yesterday, keeping up with the hirings, firings and promotions can feel a lot like trying to follow your favorite daytime soap opera. But have no fear; Canal Street Chronicles is here to help because we've created this handy-dandy coaching map, tree thingy that let's you easily see who's moved where on the chessboard of life. Feel free to print this out, fold it up and carry it around in your wallet for easy reference later. Click on the image for a larger view. Be sure to read more about the Saints newest coaching changes and their backgrounds right here on the New Orleans Saints official website.

LOL!

Very clever. Looks like crayon markings.

Joe Vitt is the only one other than Payton who seems to get a lot of cam time. I guess the others must be up in the booth. Fox TV should’ve put up a reaction shot of Gibbs every time the secondary gave up a big play. I’ll bet they didn’t because he just sat there expressionless. “Well that’s going to happen once in a while.”

"Well, that's going to happen...

…once in a series."

Who is that person talking about beating those Saints?

Hey!

I’ve got that trademarked! I was ready to print up t-shirts and everything. Then Payton had to go and fire Gibbs. He’s so selfish…

I admit pirating that one

but I didn’t recall who originated. It was too good not to repeat.

Don't we have any black coaches on our team?

And why did I think that Pete Carmichael Jr. was that black WR who played for the Eagles in the 70’s and 80’s? They aren’t the same person AT ALL.

What’s wrong with me? Man, as much as I read and watch and study about the Saints and the NFL, sometimes I just feel ridiculously stupid.

Nice job on the chart, Dave.

The Detroit Lions are on the clock!
