Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

He's got a few interesting things to say from the Senior Bowl, especially in reference to working with a high-scoring offense.

"I think (the Saints defense has) got a good nucleus, a good base of talent there," Williams said. "And you've got to be excited about the offense. When you're in a situation where if you like to pressure defense like I do, then you get a chance to pin your ears back and rush the passer more when you can put points on the board. I've been in situations before as a coach where you've got to make sure you monitor what you're doing and you can't afford to make a mistake because you're going to win the game 6-3, 10-7, 13-10. Here, you've really got a chance to pin your ears back and really rush the passer. So I'm really looking forward to it."

If this is true, I can’t wait. Let’s see if the talet will allow for it.

Already know you that which you need.

I think...

I think we have the talent to rush. WLB could be a bit better but I am hoping Big Sed can command a double team. Maybe leave one of our ends a bit freer. Grant and Smith CAN PLAY. I just think they need a boot up the rear to motivate them.

aggressive "D"

My goodness can it be, will our “D” improve ! (?) God I hope so. If we can get a defense that is successful more times than it is not, we WILL win football games. Offense is strong, and think about it, an aggressive defense. Man maybe if that happens I will enjoy watching the game when the defense is on the field to and not biting my lip, clenching my ass checks, and praying every play that the defense doesn’t screw up and putting the game all on the offense’s shoulders.

Imagine

…the defense getting more turnovers than the offense gives up. Imagine getting defensive touchdowns. Just think what one extra takeaway per game would have meant to us this season. It’s the difference between 8-8 and 14-2.

Oh when the Saints...Start kicking ass...You don't want to be in that number...
