Q. Give me your favorite New York City spot, New Orleans spot, and, if you have one, here.
A. Gosh. New York is tough. New Orleans is Nola. NOLA Restaurant. It was my favorite. My other favorite there is a place called Jacques-Imo’s.
Q. Jacques-Imo’s is mine. I love that place.
A. You know where the owner is from, right? He’s from this area. He’s great. Here’s the deal. If I want to eat fried chicken, collard greens, corn, fried green tomatoes. What’s the alligator dish he has?
Q. It’s the alligator cheesecake.
