"He made some spectacular punt returns and some spectacular explosive plays on offense, and that's what we envisioned for him, " Loomis said. "And he was feeling good about his season, we were feeling good about his season, then he had a setback with this injury.

"But the good news is that the injury has been repaired, and he had a good repair surgically, and the prognosis going forward is very positive. So, our expectation is he'll have a good offseason and pick up where he left off at the beginning of next year."

Mickey, why you lie like that? big ass liar

What would be wrong with a “we’ll see” statement. He may as well have said “We’re all betting that his 2009 performance will remind you of his USC highlight reel!!” Total BS, completely unbelievable, if he was ever credible before he sure isn’t now.

I’m bitterly disappointed. Again.

It's called

“jersey sales.” Tom needs a new house.

wouldnt bet on it, Mickey

microfracture surgery is dicey. Without his speed and elusvity, Bush hasn’t got much to fall back on. The Saints better be prepared to address the position in FA, especially if Deuce and Stecker are to be gone.

Which brings up an interesting question

Bush has always been criticized for being “not really a running back.” So: do you address the question of his replacement by getting a real running back…or do you search for another “not really” running back? To put it another way: is Sean Payton’s offense really so dependent upon Bush that only another Bush will do? (I don’t think so.) Or would another Deuce fit in nicely? (I think so.)

At any rate, I think we need to replace Gary Gibbs.

no need to replace bush

the offense was better without him anyway. I feel that it’s almost a hinderance sometimes that they feel they NEED to get him involved when he’s healthy, which is rarely. You need a big back to replace Deuce’s change of pace going hard between the tackles. I’m telling you all – Buckhalter from Philly would be a great replacement. Unfortunately, it looks to me like G. Gibbs isn’t going anywhere, either.

yay!!!!

Bush is done, we don’t need that garbage anyway…

Don't worry I got your back cuz...

let's not all pitch him on the trash heap just yet, he's under contract to 2011

I’m trying to figure what Reggie’s new role will be. Punt returner and 3rd down back lining up in the slot, only? What a damned shame.

Who was it that expressed concern this year for how he was wearing out his knees, and it was mentioned during a slo mo shot of him coming down off a leap into the end zone on the right leg? Can’t get that out of my head.

lol

For the record.. I never said Bush was done.
I just said we dont need to replace him. PT can do it all.

I think a PT / Bush backfield is better then most backfields.

dang....that's jacked up...

sure she’s suspect to me too but you can’t tell anyone anything when they are determined to do things their own way, he’ll learn the hard way with her. But I will admit, the girl is as fine as I don’t know what!!! Still, I wouldn’t be with her, not seriously anyway. But let’s not crap on her, most of us here don’t know her personally.

I feel you stujo...

she seems nice but she has an air of temptress or something like that to her. Definitely girlfriend material (just for kicks) but def not wifey material.

Don't worry I got your back cuz...
