My wife and I saw this commercial on espnu while watching the UofL - USM football game and then we had to find it on youtube and post it. Hilarious!!

well, it's an ad to convince you that listening to ESPN satellite radio
is much better than the local “homers” you get on the am radio in your hometown. (all the locals can talk about is the Saints, no matter what you actually want to talk about)
I like that dude in the back – “Where y’at, WhoDats?” “WhoDat? Drew Breeeeeeeeees!!!!!!”

"Where y’at, WhoDats?" "WhoDat? Drew Breeeeeeeeees!!!!!!"
That’s the part I don’t get. I’m missing something. Is it supposed to be nonsense?

Yes, it is meant to be just "Saints" nonsense - reflective of their idea of "low quality" local sports radio talk
that would make someone want to listen to “high-quality” sports talk on ESPN satellite radio instead.

Great commercial
and the EXACT reason why I avoid WWL sports talk like the plague. Not only is everything about either the Saints, Hornets or LSU, it’s all homespun do-no-wrongage. Anyone remember how often Buddy D used to refer to Donte Stallworth as “Donte Stallpepper”? Sad thing is, he was one of the very few at least semi-objective on-air personalities to work for that station. Deke Bellavia being the biggest joke of them all. I’d honestly rather listen to Vince Marinello talk about his recently resolved marital problems, than to that effing moron spout off about all of the wonderous virtues Mike Hass brings to the table as an NFL WR.

funny commercial
i find those commercials to be very elitist, most people in nola want to hear about the saints almost constantly.

It's funny
actually its and ad for Scott Van Pelt radio show, but its a Nat’ Ad thats whats cool about it, Like Brees on the Mardi Gras float holding up traffic at least the country knows we exist…homers are homers everywhere…
