Special thanks to one of our newer members, Urine Trouble, for sharing this with me. You've got to wait until the very end. Does anyone know why Bertinelli is a Saints fan?

Haha! I ain't got no clue why she is a Saints fan..

I’m curious now though. Was Eddie a Saints fan? Who is she married to now…?

I tweeted her

and invited her to follow @CSCtweet and visit the site. Hopefully, she reads it and can come on an explain how she became a fan.

From what I could gather, she said Romo should quit blaming Jessica Simpson for his sucky play.

Hazy on the details but I've heard this story before

Something to the effect of her dad was in the oil business and her parents moved to Shreveport when she was a teenager (from Maryland, maybe?) I’m not sure whether or not she ever lived in Louisiana herself, because that couldn’t have been long before One Day At A Time started. Anyway, I’m pretty sure it was at a show in Shreveport where she met Eddie Van Halen. Again, I’m not 100% sure of this, but I think her dad was/is a Louisiana native, which probably explains the Saints thing if he was a die hard.

Oh, and if the lovely Ms. Bertinelli does happen to tweet her way on over here, I’d like to be the first to say “Hi there. Damn you’re still smokin’ hot. And congrats on the much-publicized weight loss, but as far as I’m concerned, you were still smokin’ hot pre-Jenny. In fact, I’m pretty sure you are one of only a handful of ladies on the planet who are simply incapable of not being smokin’ hot. Ever. Under any circumstances. Call me. And please relate my condolences to Wolfgang for the Saints’ release of Kevin Houser.”

I believe

she was born in Delaware and is currently married.

While I initially took it to be a “you’re in trouble” pun, I can fully understand how a relative of Dave’s might develop a socially taboo fetish.

What's in a name?

One of my fantasy football teams is named “Off Constantly”. Can anyone guess what they have to do to win the league?

Uhh, beat Off Constantly?

Her Twitter user name is Wolfiesmom

I discovered her being a Saints fan after the Jets game. I noticed on the Twtter home page that #Saints was a hot topic so I clicked on it to see what they were saying. Scrolling down I saw this..

4-0 baby! Keep it going Saints!!

From Wolfiesmom!!!

I remember her telling Arsenio Hall that Eddie played guitar in his sleep…lol

Before you pick your Super Bowl winner ask yourself this: Can you name an offense that can keep pace with the Saints?- Jerome Bettis

You may also recall that Valerie was a guest on the 9/17/76 episode of the Dinah Shore show, along with Charlton Heston, who portrayed Saints QB Cat Catlan in “Number One”. I’m guessing that they spoke extensively of this film on the set, and her love for the Black & Gold has grown exponentially ever since.

Wow !!

I would hate to play Trivial Pursuit with you. You’d kick my ass! LOL

I wonder if she ever banged Schneider, the super from across the way. He was always a rather dashing fellow, with that whole Clark Gable mustache thing he had going on. Oh, and the wallet chain. That’s class. You also have to admire any guy who has the cojones to casually let himself into a single woman’s apartment. Cecil Collins excluded, of course.
