Noon on the east coast means bloody mary time!!!!

Hope everyone has a great game. Geaux Saints-Geaux Who Dat Nation. And thank heaven for the nfl package. Without it I would have either Carolina-Tampa in the cess pool bowl, or Skins-Chiefs. How sad is that

Saints and Giants inactives for today's game (as per Jeff Duncan @ T-P)

Saints Inactives: Kendrick Clancy and Darnell Dinkins, Garrett Hartley, Leigh Torrence, Jo-Lonn Dunbar, Nick Leckey and Lynell Hamilton.

Clancy practiced all week and was listed as full on the injury report on Friday. He’s had a knee injury that’s forced him to miss the past three weeks. Remi Ayodele will start in Clancy’s place. Dinkins also practiced all week and was hoping to see his first action of the season. He’s been sidelined since early in preseason with ankle and foot injuries.
Hartley’s inactive status means veteran John Carney will handle place-kicks, as expected. Rookie punter Thomas Morstead will kick off.

The Giants’ inactives are: Ramses Barden; Dany Ware; Aaron Ross; MIchael Boley; Adam Koets; Guy Whimper; Clint Sintim; and Chris Canty.

I would think a safety would make you guys happier as it would gaurentee 2 points and still allow the possibilty for 3-7 more whereareas with the down call you can ONLY get 7 and those ARENT gauranteed?

Radio show reminder!

Just wanted to let everyone know that Dave, Ralph and I are doing our radio show at 5 p.m.

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/forecastradio

If you want to call in (and we always encourage it), call 347-215-8037.

Call in, say some nice things about the team, maybe blast the national sports media, giants fans, etc.

"Gowin on fourth and 14 will punt it away. He hangs it very high, angling it for the near sideline...HAKIM DROPS THE BALL!!! HAKIM DROPS THE BALL!! Brian Milne might've fallen on it at the ten yard line! It's the New Orleans Saints' football! Brian Milne, the most unlikely hero of them all, falls on the fumble, the muff by Hakim! There is a God after all!" -- Jim Henderson

by hakimdropstheball on Oct 18, 2009 4:49 PM CDT reply actions

Hey guys

great game (from the Saints anyway). That was the worst Giants loss I’ve seen since the last time we faced Darren Sharper (I really hate that man, even if his pick-6 was called back).

As a Giants fan I’m not getting too worked up over it – it’s one game in a long season, and the Giants won their last Super Bowl by beating 3 straight teams they’d lost to during the season, two of whom dominated them. But enjoy it – for at least one week you guys are definitely the best team in the league. And if any team that’s not the Giants is gonna win, I wouldn’t mind it being you guys – great city, great people, you guys deserve a championship.

"[The Giants] beat us down. We were beat by a grown-man team, a team we want to be like one day. They came in here and took it to us. Out-manned us, out-gunned us. ... It wasn't even close." - Raheem Morris, 9/27/09

by cjmulrain on Oct 18, 2009 5:05 PM CDT reply actions

Stop it!!!

I wanted to hate the Giants fans and you’re ruiining it!

All kidding aside, this is the kind of game that, no matter who loses, the losing team will know exactly where they need to improve.

And there’s plenty of season left to make those improvements.

BTW, the year you guys beat the Pats in the SB….I was rooting for you all the way.
