The Colts are no. 1? The Saints are no. 2? Really? Even if we win the Super Bowl, these guys will never rank us no. 1. After the ass-whoopin' the Giants just received from us, they only fall to no. 5. Move along. Nothing to see here. There's nothing to see here, PLEASE! (in Leslie Neilson "Naked Gun" voice)

All but Gil Brandt see the light.

Colts...

I find it funny how the Saints dropped in most the rankings during the bye week (I believed they were ranked 4th on most polls) and all the experts saying something to the effect of ‘the Saints didn’t drop due to being off, they dropped cause the other teams looked so good.’

Given this manner of reasoning alone, the Saints decisive win over the Giants should move them into the #1 spot on EVERY Power Ranking. And that just includes that reason, let’s not even talk about all the other very good reasons. At this point in the season, having watched both teams, I honestly think the Saints could beat the Colts. Manning is awesome, but they have some real issues on that team that will soon be exploited.

John Clayton, who I believe is mentally retarded, listed the Vikings over the Saints. Because somehow getting 2 lucky wins (miracle catch against 49ers, missed FG by Ravens) all of a sudden makes you a better team than one that has bludgeoned opponents by 20 PPG…

But what do Power Rankings matter anyway, Keep Marching Saints…
