OK, I'm back

Been drinking heavily ever since the game was 24-3, and couldn’t stop or come back here for fear of upsetting the mojo or something, but I just wanted to say this is the best game I’ve seen in quite some time.

And just for good measure, end the game on an offensive penalty.

Now 2-0 in Husky Stadium with a win each for LSU and Oregon.

I support Sonja Newcombe for Heisman.

i wonder

if the pundits will still be asking if the saints are the best team in the nfl? the colts had an easy game against the rams, yet i bet they still say the colts are the top team regardless of the metal the saints showed today. i wish i could tell chris berman where to go, he’s picked against the saints every game this year i think…except maybe detroit.

Game ball to Drew

Give me the ball Sean. Give me the f-ing ball.

I have been a Saints fan since the mid 70s and I have never seen them field a team this good or any where near this determined. I don’t think Payton said one word to them at half time. I think Drew took over and willed every single player on that team to victory.

Does anyone know if the Saints have ever returned from a 21 point deficit to win? I can’t think of any time that has happened before.

12 years in Kentucky killed me....

But the Hail Mary Devery Henderson caught for LSU vs UK was sweeter since I was living there…lol

i'll be too embarrassed to say this later, when i'm not drunk.

i’ve only been a saints fan for about a year.

i’m english. i knew a girl from houma, LA, who got me into the saints around 2005. but i only started to pay more attention to them after they came to england. now i’m married to that girl and i live in america (albeit in NJ) and the saints are a great little reference point for our relationship. i’ve gotten so fanatical about them that i read this site and about 15 others every day, and count down to every game.

i’ve watched 4 of 6 games this season in bars, including in NYC last week against the giants, which was very funny and satisfying, but nothing makes me feel better than to share an amazing win like this with some saints fans like i have on CSC today.

i know that i’m pretty lucky to have become a serious fan when we’re suddenly a great team, so i hope that everyone here enjoys this defining win even more than i have done today.

p.s. DRINK.

My wife (saintsophie) and I lived in Nawlins and had season tickets with the Saints during the Dome Patrol Years.

Sounds like you started honestly and you’re not a band wagoneer. You are soooo lucky to start now. We have suffered for so long. Enjoy the ride. This one is Loooooong overdue.

Wow, what a comeback.

Dolphin fan here… didn’t get to see the game until the final 7 minutes or so. I was watching the score ticker on the other games I was forced to watch and was hoping we could continue to force you guys to play catch up. Appears you did more than catch up…

Many props to the Saints for turning the tables on us. You truly deserved it.

by ali3baba on Oct 25, 2009 7:33 PM CDT reply actions

I made it back home just in time to catch the very end

After watching the end of the game, I read all of the posts here, and it was really funny to listen to some “fans” giving up in the 2nd quarter, some “fans” using every opportunity to blame Bush for everything, including the defensive woes, and then reading as the jubilation took over as the Saints came from behind to take control.

Great win, I’ll be watching the game on NFL Rewind to catch all the action. Geaux Saints!

DOLPHINS GAME

I am a lifelong Dolphins fan and have been going to games since i was a small small footballchik and without question, the nicest opposing fans i have ever been at a game with are Saints fans. period. I’m just saying.
