Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Last I am so tired of all the @reggie_bush haters, the guy can do things that u can only do in a Madden game, like jump from the 6ydl 4 a TD

Reverses never work on Madden.

Funny thing to...

In Madden 10, when you try to fly to the outside with Bush, he gets chased down and tackled for a loss. When you hit the line full speed ahead with Bush, he gets positive yards and even breaks through sometimes for big gains. I know it’s a video game, but it just seems funny.

me too Billy!

And it’s true reverses don’t work well on Madden,

Don't worry I got your back cuz...

You can play Madden blind with Drew Brees. Just push the buttons, he’s damn near unstoppable. Reggie gets hurt every 10 plays . . . I’m sorry, but that’s kind of ridiculous. He’s not THAT fragile.

yeah he does get hurt a lot...

he usually comes back but they make him fumble like every other series…and that’s ridiculous.

How much are we paying him for that one play a week? First round money expects first round plays. Dude has got to be the highest paid per yard gained in the entire league. Just sayin’.

well

i have not been a bush fan for awhile but i liked that 18 yard flight into the endzone.
maybe we should use him to dive over the line on the goal line like some of the great backs have done in the past (walter payton, tony dorsett, thurman thomas)

I like Billy Miller

and I like Reggie Bush, too…but this is an incredibly weak argument. Can Reggie do things that other NFL backs do? That’s the important question. I don’t care if he can fly 18 feet into the end zone…I care if he can average over 4 yards per carry. I care if he can somehow get back his punt return mojo. I care if he can remember how to pass block.

The comparisons to Eric Metcalf are starting to seem generous: Metcalf had a better rushing average, a better receiving average, a better punt return average, and also returned kickoffs…something Reggie doesn’t do. Reggie also loses fumbles at nearly twice the rate of Metcalf.

Something has to change, SOON, because the thorough excellence of the Saints’ offense this year is providing an ever greater contrast between the Reggie that might have been, and the Reggie we don’t need.

I'm with you Mt..

I didn’t care for Bush all day Sunday until he took flight into the end zone. Then I was like,….." Shit, I have to like Reggie until he looses yardage again next week!" Here I go again with myself.

Billy Miller should help take some of the heat off Reggie by returning punts. Even on crutches, I doubt his average would be much worse.

I got a feeling he'll have more touches this next week...

Let’s see what happens. Yall some haters though, negative energy like that don’t help the team…

Don't worry I got your back cuz...
