Atlanta Falcons @ New Orleans Saints: Game Predictions

Prediction time, baby! Give us your best three guesses about the game on Monday night. You all saw last week how accurate you're going to have to be to even get nominated, let alone win, so make them good. Falcons fans welcome.
Speaking of winners...give a warm round of applause to CSC co-writer, MtnExile, who was voted last weeks winner by a mere three votes. Here are his three winning predictions:
1. The Dolphins will score first.
2. The Saints will hold the Dolphins under 150 yards rushing.
3. The Saints will have at least one significant injury.
To your left, you will see M-E's lovely avatar. Maybe one of these days he'll change it up. It's been a while now.
That's enough from me. Predict away!

I recant my statement. Falcons will still win, an injury to Brees is inevitable, even thought I do not “wish” it. Atlanta will finish 11-5, Saints will finish 12-4. Probably more like 10-6 after Brees goes down.

to Brees INEVITABLE? Because he’s been hurt so often the past 3 years? This IS you just “wishing” he gets hurt. No class. You have no class.

3.Saints win the TO battle by 3+
I don’t think that we’ll get a 40+point game especially against a division rival but we’ll be close. Also, Falcons will make it a game untill the 4th quarter. I’ll say that Brees has 3 TDs and we’ll have 2 rushing TDs.
I think it’s funny that everyone is upset that the Falcon fan predicted Brees would get hurt when MtnExile predicted that the Saints would get a major injury last week and no one cared. Lay off ppl, it’s not that big of a deal. He made a prediction, maybe thinking that Atl’s Dline will get to Brees alot. Just seems everyone’s up in arms over a small statement. Maybe he does wish that Brees would get hurt but maybe not.

It's not that he predicted Brees would get hurt,
it’s that he said “season ending” injury. That just shows he’s saying it out of hate and wishing something bad upon somebody for his own selfish reasons. I don’t like the Falcons and I love to see Matt Ryan get roughed up but I would never say “He’s gonna get knocked out of the season, it’s inevitable.”And MtnExile didn’t specify anyone and he didn’t say major injury he said significant. Not to mention look what happened when he did that. We lost Evans for the year. Ok i’m just kidding with that last sentence, I don’t think him predicting an injury made it happen. But that’s the difference I see here.

Saints 44 Falcons 19
First let me prefess this by saying the Falcons always scare, I remember how they won 20 -17 and 40 -34 to mess up an 8 – 8 season for Archie. That said:
1) The Saints will hold the Falcons to under 250 yards of total offense.
2) Reggie Bush will have two gains of over 40 yards, either rushing, receiving or special teams.
3) Ryan will pass for less than 150 yards.

Saints 31 - Falcons 21
1) Falcons score two 4th quarter TDs after being down 31-7, and we have some minor heartburn but hang on.
2) M-E never changes his avatar.
3) Carney is 4-4 on XPs and 1-1 on FGs, as we breathe a sigh of relief that our kicking game does not crumble in this game.

The Falcons have always been our jinx team
The Falcons scare me, not because they are equal to the Saints in talent. They are not. However, the Falcons have a long history of raining on our parade. The next game I worry about is Tampa Bay, not New England. I remember when we snapped Tampa’s 26 game losing streak, when they first came into the league. Football is a mental game. It is a game of momentum and desire. The question is will the Saints have the desire and momentum to take the Falcons.

what exactly does Bush score on the punt return?
You have the Saints with 35 (on 5 Brees TDs), and then Bush scoring on a punt return. Doesn’t quite add up.
