Will Malcolm (Jenkins) ever get a chance to do that? I will tell you this, Malcolm is a pretty smart football player, but he has years and years and reps and reps and reps to go to get a chance to see it at the speed it is at this level.

This struck me as an odd comment from WiIliams. He was asked about Darren Sharper and his HoF level of performance. He answered by mentioning Darren’s instincts and how smart a football player he is. Then right at the end he mentions Jenkins out of nowhere and sats that he has “years and years … to get a chance to see it … at this level.” I know that he’s partly saying that Jenkins has years before he can play with the kind of instincts Sharper has. But the way it’s worded and the odd timing of bringing it up in the context of that question makes me think he is less than impressed with Malcolm’s progress. Anyone else get that impression?
