tough call
Carney is accurate.. Carney is wise and a proven vet who wont crash under pressure.
Hartley is longer range, less accurate, and we dont know how well he will do with the clock at 2 seconds and the game on the line.

Seems obvious
Go with Hartley. He’s young, has a lot of potential, was accurate last year, hit at least one 50 yarder in preseason. Also, the Saints don’t seem to be interested in field goals much, anyway. They already don’t trust Carney outside the twenty. Why not get a similarly trusted option with a potential for a future in the league. Keep Morstead on kickoffs, though. Hell, if he could hit a FG from 35 yards out, I’d say screw both of them.

I agree
that it seems like a no-brainer. Of course, so does not taking a friend’s prescribed drugs to stay awake on the highway, when your employer has your bladder programmed into their speed dial.
