Jason Cole

So everytime I see Jason Cole(Writer for yahoo) eitehr write or get interviewed about teh Saints he for whatever reason seems to think the Saints will flounder.  As well he has picked Minnesota over New Orleans to represent the NFC saying that Jared Allen will have 3 sacks against the Saints.  He seems to be about the only person who is confusing this years team with Saints teams of the past.  So I encourage everyone to write to him and let him know what we think of his nonsense.

Why bother? Seriously, that guy has more ego than a rabid Steeler fanatic, more arrogance than the worst of the Jets or Dolphins fans that came to visit, and more ability to make an annoying idiot of himself than anybody I know.

Just hope our boys can prove him wrong on the field. But attempting to educate him is a waste of time and breath.

Who cares?!?!

I’ve never even heard of this guy. He’s a writer for Yahoo? If he knew what he was talking about he would be writing for a sports site that has some sports credibility like SI or NFL.com or CSC!!

Who is Jason Cole and why should we care what he thinks?

Don Banks at Sports Illustrated has had the Saints at the top of their power rankings since they beat the Jets. Peter King at S.I. has them going to the SB. The guy at Sporting News has them going to the SB (although he predicts they will lose to the Steelers). Even the little nerdy looking guy at ESPN has them going to Miami. So this guys opinion is worth about as much as a crack addicts thoughts on the matter.

Honestly

if they weren’t all picking the Patriots it might hold water. All of the media loves to jump on Tom Brady’s meat whistle. Only ONE of them picked the Steelers! I still think the Patriots defense is questionable. The Steelers have all their bases covered. With Mendenhaul (may have mispelled that) suddenly waking up, we knew he was going to be a beast it was just a matter of time, they are probably the most complete team in the league. I know it’s hard to repeat but good teams do it and they are pretty darn GOOD! I hope the Steelers don’t make it to the Superbowl because I don’t know if anybody could take them on that stage.

Apparently

Cole believes the Saints are the best team in football (he has them at the top of his Top Five), and that they’re going to go undefeated…but that Minnesota will beat them in the Dome because Jared Allen gets three sacks.

So his problem isn’t that he’s stupid (although he may be)…his problem is that he’s schizophrenic.

Of course, he could be right—“a stopped clock” and all that.

“Minnesota will beat them in the Dome”

Dome teams do that to dome teams in domes sometimes.

One team will outscore the other to win the game.

Who cares that much?

i like yahoo but i don’t really care that they think that the vikings will beat us in the playoffs. No matter how good we do this season, we will be the underdogs to win in the NFC championship when we make it and even after that win, we’ll be underdogs to any afc team that we play. It’s just possible bulletin board material for them later although i’m sure they don’t really care either.

Superbowl bound!!!...I know! do you?! Go Saints!!

They still sell voodoo dolls in the French Quarter

Will one of you locals buy one and stick a pin for Jason?

Now, let’s see ……. pin location? I’m thinking “up”.

only team to fear....

steelers. vikings, dont have the secondary to stop us. colts, cant stop or start the run. pats have a questionable D, and lack to ability to run.

steelers on the other hand (as much as i hate it) match up far to well. they can run, have a QB who is great under pressure, and a turnover creating D.

if we make the SB, im hoping we get manning. settle this debate once and for all.
