Down with all the haters!
There are too many people out there hating on our Saints just because they didn't win pretty! A win is a win! 9-0, baby! Who dat!
All those people who would rather question our boys instead of supporting them like TRUE fans need to find another team to support. All you people wringing your hands and whining that everything isn't okay, you Debbie Downers need to haul ass for some other fan base. People like these:
"We're dodging bullets right now." --Scott Fujita
"Obviously, we're not happy with the turnovers. It's going to get our butts beat pretty soon if we don't fix it." --Drew Brees
"Glaring issues like stopping the run, turnovers, those are things that if we don't get corrected can come back to bite us." --Jonathan Vilma
Who are these guys? Obviously not real fans. Things are great in party city right now, so knock back a few and celebrate! All you haters go someplace else. WHO DAT! WHO DAT!

If you think teams are bringing their best game against us now, just wait until January
When it’s only good, playoff teams that we’re playing.

Seriously, if Brees can’t be more positive, start Brunell.
/sarcasm
They’ll be fine. We’re 9-0, just some bumps in the road. Injuries suck, but…as successful coaches have said before, “NEXT MAN UP!”. I’m less concerned this morning than I was last night. I had my morning coffee, soaking it all in and decided that things were fine.
I think the reality is that it’s November and like every year around this time, the bad teams get better and the good teams get worse. Not sure why that happens, but it always does. The point being that there are no easy games at this point in the year and the blowout parade is probably over. Now it’s about grinding out sixty minute games against tough teams each week. Injuries will happen, and we need to ride them out and stay focused. This Saints team operating at 70 or 80% is still better than most teams in the league at the moment.

Speaking of haters, what about those biased announcers yesterday? Cracking a joke about the Rams’ offense being “allergic to the end zone” … OMFG, they’re CLEARLY pulling for the Saints!!!!
Funny how you never hear gripes like that, when they’re making light of the opponent. Is it safe to assume that only the biased pick up on such biases?

Everyone is aware of their own fan-hypocrisy.
It comes with the territory. But thanks for pointing it out. Trent Green is such an NFC South homer.

WORRIED
I know we are 9-0 and it is great. But……Sinc the Giants game , our offence has been in a nose dive. We haved scored less in every game since then ? Brees seems to need a complete first half of play before he wakes up and quits the turn overs every week now ?
The OFFENCE is putting the DEFENCE in large holes right from the get go ? Thats a lot of pressure to play under right out of the gate for the DEFENCE!!! Whats going on now with the offence ? It’s like they don’t practice all the sudden. I guess I got used to the OFFENCE that was scaring other teams DEFENCES. Lately , teams we are playing seem to just wait for the Saints to fumble or throw those interceptions and they get the quick and easy points every week. I am like all Saint fans and I am sky-high with being 9-0 but I tell ya folks , if the OFFENCE don’t wake up and regain it’s power (stop the turnovers) we are headed to some losses and will not see a SB this year. We can’t just show up and assune that the junky teams will just lay down for us cause we are 9-0.
As you can see , that’s not what they are doing. I am worried because when we play the good teams again , if we keep coughing up turn overs and not able to get 1st downs and control the clock at the end of games….teams like Dallas @ New England will put a thousand pts. on our defence in a NY minute…and then , the losses will start coming in here like the TITANTIC when it was taking water. Brees…please wake up and play like you use too , quickly cause our DEFENCE is banged up now , we need the pts again to win and not hold our breath and hope the other teams don’t complete hell-marys at the end of games….GO SAINTS GO WHO DAT WHO DAT

AGAIN , PART TWO
Whats up with M Colston now , he seems to always find a slump and stay in it for awhile and then finds a (small) injury to cling too and then rides the bench for a long time ? He is either all world or he looks like he plays 2-aaa high school football ???
by sainthog on Nov 18, 2009 7:30 AM CST reply actions 0 recs
People slump. It happens to everyone. Be thankful his slumps aren’t nearly as bad as some people’s can be.

Colston’s a physical presence and a dependable target, but he’s not exactly what I would consider to be a playmaker. His career statistics back this up. He gets targeted a lot, but his yards per reception are much lower than most #1 WRs in the league. That’s not a knock on the guy, he’s just a bit overused. I think the “slump” you’re perceiving now is a concerted effort by Sean Payton to get his “playmakers” (Henderson, Meachem, Shockey) more involved. If Moore wasn’t playing for a contract and/or nicked up, he’d probably be more involved in that rotation too, though I see him as more of a Colston (possession) type. I don’t agree with all of Payton’s personnel decisions, but this approach seems to make a lot of sense. I’m not saying Colston won’t continue to start, just don’t be surprised if you start seeing him play the slot more often. In all honesty, that’s where he probably should have been all along. And likely would have been, had Henderson not been so inconsistent, Meachem slow to pick up on the playbook, Stallworth traded, etc. It’s more a case of the cream (first day draft picks) finally rising to the top, not the mighty falling.

I’m thinking Meachum is going to eventually take the top spot, although Payton is high on Henderson . . . deservingly so this season.

Well...
You won’t see Colston burning a corner for an 80 yard touchdown, which is why I would also consider him a possession receiver. He’s almost like a tight end(in fact, I think he was projected to be drafted as a tight end). He won’t get you alot of yards after the catch, but he’ll get you the catch…. and he’s big enough that once he get’s the ball, it could take a couple of guys to bring him down. That in itself makes him a prime target to get that third down catch short of the line and fight for the yardage(that’s one reason I don’t understand why he pulled a Ruggie Bush during the Rams game when he probably could have bulldozed his way in the endzone). Anyway, the guy comes down with some incredible catches in tough situations and that’s why I love him.

loving the saints in michigan
ive been a saints fan since reggie bush got drafted by them in 2006. my friends ragged on me for liking a team not known to winning. my roomate is the biggest jeremy shockey fan and when the saints picked him up, we were both estatic. now it’s him and i every sunday cheering on the new orleans saints from our couch in michigan, far away from where we’d like to be. we’re waiting for playoff tickets so we can experience the stadium but it’s gonna cost a lot of money for everything. but we’ll figure something out and come join everyone down there. we can’t wait. WHO DAT THINK DEY GONNA BEAT DEM SAINTS? after week 10, nobody. that’s who. GO SAINTS

Peyton Manning
is a New Orleans native and his dad was quarterback for the Saints for several seasons, so I’m not really sure what cause you have to hate the team. I don’t really know of any Saints fans that don’t like the Colts.
My guess is you just want your team to be the last standing.
