Need some big time help up here in North La
Hey ya'll, I just started reading this site the past few weeks, and I am lovin it!!! Been a Saints fan for the past 38 years, and had only hoped for a season like this one.
I live near Shreveport in the northwest corner of this great state. As you can imagine, there are more than a few Dallas Cowboy fans in this area. So many in fact, that the networks have ALWAYS favored showing the Cowboy games instead of the Saints when their schedules clash-as is happening this Sunday. I have voiced my opinion more than a few times, but keep getting the same story. The network broadcast area includes much of East Texas as well as Southwest Arkansas, and the Cowboy fans outnumber the Saints fans up here. 62 of 64 parishes in La will always show the Saints games-but not Caddo and Bossier. It seems to really be about advertising dollars.
A few weeks ago, when the Saints played Miami and Dallas was playing at the same time, KMSS, our local FOX affiliate, put a means to vote on their webcite for which of the two games we wanted to watch. This vote was not really advertised much, I found it by accident when I went to complain again about not supporting the state team. I emailed everyone I knew, and the Saints won out about 10-1. So after the game, they were bombarded by Cowboy fans wanting to know what happened to their game. KMSS promised to publicize the next poll-and here it is this week.
I just checked the cite, and the cowboy fans are winning 53-47%. I NEED your help! Please, please, please, go to this cite-
you have to register and get a username and password, but it doesn't take long. The voting ends tomorrow at 1pm, so please do it today. Many thanks in advance for your help, and I will let you know how it turns out.

Sorry!
OK, this is my first post, so don’t jump me about the double post!
Damn, I was just about to jump you, too.

good luck, man
I feel for you as I have to listen to them on internet radio, so I did my part. Good, luck! That’s a LOT o votes!
You got my vote !!!!
I just love stickin it to the Dallas Cowboys and the fans. If you need it every week just post it and I will support your efforts. True Saint fans help true Saint fans. EVERYBODY OUGHT TO JUMP ON THIS and help our northern Louisianians show the support they can get from CSC patrons. Wont be much longer and we will have them Cowboys to pounce on anyway. Start working on their heads now. Good luck and hope you get to watch our Saints.
voted for Saints - it's easy - took less than a minute to register and vote...
nearly 16,000 votes in and it’s 52% Dallas, 48% Saints (7:51 pm EST, Tuesday night)
good luck

The voting is over
And those damn cowboy fans won 51-49%. I really appreciate all of you who went to the trouble to vote and help me out. There were almost 20,000 votes cast, and it was so busy this morning you couldn’t log on. So we started calling the station with our votes, but it didn’t work this time.
That sucks man. Sorry
They should obviously treat both teams as regional games there, with the begrudging tie going to Dallas(as in, if they both play at noon on Fox, Dallas is on TV). I live in Austin, and the TV stations pretty much treat Cowboys and Texans games that way.

Sunday ticket or...
There are many bars and eating establishments in Shreveport/Bossier that will have the game. Buffalo Wild Wings on Youree and on the Board Walk in Bossier always have a good crowd…as many many other places… good luck and GEAUX SAINTS!
