So, when do we start talking about the next game?
I'll be shocked if that one's not close being that it's a division game and all. And, the team really does have a very big bulls-eye painted right on their backs, especially for a team like TB that has nothing to lose. At least, it's going to be in warm weather. That's outside, right? Does anyone know how the Saints do on turf? Those two questions have plagued me from game to game. Can't seem to find a good site for it. Also, speaking of sites, does anyone know a good site to see (no pun intended) replays. The NFL site sucks for me.

No one's talking
Cause they are scared. to death. That seems to be the general concensus on this site lately. I do not see any problems for the Saints at Tampa Bay. Might be a close game but the Saints will prevail again. They will be 10-0 when Pats arrive at the dome and 11-0 when they leave. Payton is one of the brightest coaches in the league and will have the Saints ready ,not to mention the Brees-Brady battle that will fire up the team. Anything after that will be very good jambalya and some really cold beer because the party begins…………………….Geaux Saints

I don't disagree
that nfl.com is great, though it seems tougher on my compute usage than most sites. Kinda clunky. It’s just that the videos sure don’t show the detail, at least on my computer. The reason I noticed was that I was trying to look very closely at one of those interceptions and I couldn’t get a good enough view. I would swear that there was blatant interference, but I just couldn’t see well enough. And, I’ve viewed a lot and they all seem like that. I really don’t think it’s my computer, either, or my link. But, maybe I’m wrong.

Trust Me Saints,
When we received our first lost it was quite devastating because we could’ve won, but It will take a lot of pressure off your team! Not saying it’s good to lose, but It would put a target the same size on both the Vikings and Saints if you were so, don’t feel too bad if the out come of Sunday’s game don’t turn out the way yall want.
And I swear I hope the Vikings face the Saints in the NFC championship, it would be a game of the ages!

We'll lose one
as soon as you guys lose another one so we can have homefield throughout the playoffs ;P
A loss wouldn’t ruin our season or anything but alot of us, including myself think that homefield would play a huge part of our SB run. I agree about the NFC Championship game, it’d be on ESPN Classic the next day lol
Superbowl bound!!!...I know! do you?! Go Saints!!

I'm Finished w/ Ram talk
T.B. next up, Rookie QB looked shakey early v. The Pack and Phins but rallied, they’ve found a QB. I saw this dude a lot ,in college, K-State,definately an upgrade from Leftwich (Byron’s toast) and I’m a little more worried than I was facing Bulger, if we catch’em early we gotta knockem out, no TO’s !!!

Josh Freeman
is off to a really nice start. In his two starts so far, he’s completed 30 of 59 passes for over 400 yards, 4 TDs and 2 INTs. That’s an 85.9 passer rating – not too shabby. I don’t think he’s a bigger threat than Bulger – a 9 year veteran that knows the game. But if Porter, Greer, and Sharper are out, Freeman will likely have some success, which only opens up the field for Cadillac.
Of course, I still think the Saints win, but I wouldn’t expect a big blowout. The Bucs are looking like a team that has found itself and is playing better every week. They won’t be leaving anything on the field.

So many fans, from NO and from all over
seem to forget that all of these teams are Pros, all the personnel have been outstanding at HS and college level, and practice everyday and prep and watch game film. There is a fine line between the bottom dwellers and the top. That’s why 1-7 teams beat 7-1 teams some times. It’s also about matchups. It just seems to be that the 7-1 teams usually win more of the games than the 1-7 teams in the long run. But, don’t be mistaken, the Jets already beat the patriots with a rookie QB, Raiders beat the Eagles which should have been a blowout game for the Eagles, and the Rewdskins won Sunday. it all can happen that’s why the NFL is so fun.
Having said all that, don’t put me in the ranks of “scared to death.” The Saints are for real, win or lose Sunday and
they don’t scare me- they scare opposing defensive coordinators- every game.

one concern
I really have only one concern and that is if the team gets so down on themselves that they lose their confidence. As with all competitions, it is such a mind game. That is the previous Saints tradition. But, it is not a major concern for me because, as has bee repeated, they are for real. And, that is one of the coach’s fine lines that needs to be balanced between critquing and criticizing, between keeping the spirit of a team up, but not in the clouds. I can see, over and over again, that Sean Payton (that’s Pay-Loo?) is a master in this area as well.
And, really nice to see, is that, while the fan-base is somewhat freaking out, they are not really bashing. That is fine. I think it has always been that way with NOLA. Nobody is saying woe is me (or not many). They are just concerned. I’m afraid I’m of the half full variety, even when the bottom has been cut out of the glass. Sigh…
