When I saw the headline this morning that said "Saints sign veteran Mcalister" I thought they had resigned Deuce and I got hella excited.  I thought they should have given him one more year but I certainly can understand why they didnt.  Anyways, then I clicked on the headline and saw that it was Chris Mcalister.  Did that happen to anyone else?

I'm glad they signed Chris though.  Our backup secondary guys don't impress me all that much.  They made the Rams pathetic recieving corps look like a bunch of pro bowlers.  Having Randall Gay on the field next monday against the Pats would have worried me.  Could be worse though.......least it isn't Jason David. (THANK GOD!!)  I really hope Jabari Greer and big Sedrik Ellis will be back for that Pats game.  I think Jabari has the skills to keep Moss in check.  You know Drew has a chip on his shoulder for that game because (even though he would never admit it being the professional that he is)  he wants to be mentioned in the same class as Brady and Manning.  He'll have his chance to prove that he desreves it next Monday.  I personally think he already does.  Statistically he's been consistently better for the past 3 years.  People say its because the Saints have the best recieving corps in the NFL but I think it has more to do with Brees and his ability to make the guys around him better.  He hasn't had a hall of fame recievers like reggie wayne or randy moss to throw to.  I think he's gonna have somthen to prove in thay Pats game.  Shaun Payton will have somthen to prove too.  You know he circled that game on his calendar and would love nothing more than to out duel Belichek

I'm getting ahead of myself though, we gotta beat the Bucs first.
