Around SBN: Jeremy Lin And How The Pac-12 Missed Him

It looks like it will be Jenkins and Gay starting at CB this Sunday. It's a perfect time to get Jenkins a start, considering he'll be going up against a rookie QB with only two starts on his resume. I hope Jenkins comes through for us. This game may become a shoot-out.

I bet

that Jenkins is a good blitzer. The Bucs had better not assume we’re going to play vanilla.

I like this- makes Tampa indecisive

who do you go after- Gay or Jenkins- tough choice. Both will have help- young QB will have to decide which one on which play. I actually expect both CBs to have big days and I expect McAlister to get some plays too. I think we will bring a lot of heat on defense to help the DBs and we will roll the dice cause it could backfire. But, I don’t think it will backfire and how could it be a better scenario to throw Jenkins in the mix and have Mc alister get a shot too? This will be a great thing and when we have all starters back it will be even better!!!

Gay seems to give up on some plays.

It’s as if he’s thinking, “Nope. I can’t get to this one.” then eases up a bit.

Or, am I seeing something that isn’t there?

I don't think

he’s that bad compared to our cb’s of the past. While he is definetly not the same caliber as Porter or Greer, i think he is a suitable back-up. CB is the toughest position in the nfl and when you have to make the transition from covering slot recievers over to #1 or #2 recievers then there has to be a period of adjustment.

And i do know what your talking about in saying, " Nope. Can’t get this one."

I think in the case last Sunday he was just plain ole beat!
