New quarterbacks
Facing a new quarterback can always be a pain, since you haven't a clue what to expect from them. And, it's not just quarterbacks. You see the same thing with pitchers in baseball. I have seen it all my life, that a new quarterback has his greatest chance at success in the first few games. Especially his first game. I guess they are hard to read if you have never seen any films on them. So, is two weeks enough to figure out a rookie quarterback.
Is two weeks enough to figure out a new quarterback?

Also, Yes.
The quarterback, unlike in baseball, has to work with the offensive scheme that the coaching staff gives him. Defend against the scheme and adjust to the rookie quarterback who is, hopefully, second guessing everything he does. That extra second makes all the difference IMO.
If it’s true that we learn by our mistakes, I hope what’s-his-face leaves the game with a PhD!!!
Fat, dumb, and happy. Hell, two out of three ain't bad!

Just recognized your picture
Funny, I just finished watching “Support your local gunfighter”, once again. Has to be one of my all-time favorite movies. Sorry, I guess a little bit off-subject…

If he has film for 2 weeks that are a bit consistent
then you can figure him out. If it was just 1 week or 2 weeks of incosistent play(not talking about necessarily bad throws but mechanics and how long he waits to check down and how well he progresses from option 1 to option 2-5) then I’d say no. It’s also easier for us since we should know what kind of offensive scheme they’re going to try to use against us. I like Sharper’s chances though :D
Superbowl bound!!!...I know! do you?! Go Saints!!

Greg Williams
Will have him figured out by half time.Till then i believe when ever he drops back to pass he will get the same treatment as all young QB’s get,The Buddy Ryan school of blitz

Too funny!!
Did you hear Greg Williams’ quote? Josh “is not afraid of the long pass”! I love it! If he’s not toast, I’ll be shocked.

He is sooooo toast!
If the quotes I keep hearing are a good read of Josh Freeman, he is soooo toast! A guy on WWL was just saying that Josh bird-dogs a receiver! If he does that and the long ball to the Saints, I gotta believe Sharper will be MVP of the week for the league.
